I bet they’re back up because when the ownership was transferred and they sent out that email offering to let you withdraw everything no charge, a lot of people took them up on it. I doubt it will normally be like this

Yeah right I agree but still I was supposed to pay 3% ended up paying nothing ! On a huge card so I’m glad I lucked out. Bad part is today I’m scheduled to receive said card and it’s been about 3 weeks and 3 days total. Longest time it’s ever taken for me to get a card 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh this is interesting. I sold a PSA 10 Lugia alt Art and the buyer had it vaulted. It still isn’t marked delivered because they haven’t “secured it in the vault” yet. It was handed off to the Vault over a month ago. Thought it was just me lol Also grading with PSA is really good right now. It takes like a month max for Bulk orders. But yea I had a feeling when they made the vault announcement that it wouldn’t be a very good experience. They’re trying to do too many things with it at once.

I’m going to lose my shit if this order takes a month. I won’t even have the card by collect a con if I wanted to trade it up at the event. Leave it to me to be the guinea pig of vault experiences 😂 smh this is not going to be smooth I just know it 💀

A week from when it was “handed off to psa” but it’s been 2 weeks total and today no update either. Getting nervous I’m sure it will be fine but it’s never taken so long when it was through eBay?

I just left charlotte. I Went to the Creed Concert down there. Was gonna try and go to collectacon but ended up my vacation landed on the same weekend.

Love that topic at the end of the video. I stopped watching a good amount of Investor Channels. I pretty much only watch you and Nostalgia Nomics + the PokeMart Podcast he does and the podcast with OldCardshop and Retro I feel like investing is a no brainer content idea. Everybody is just reporting news. I highly doubt all of them saying “oh this is a good set buy it, but especially buy a case” “don’t buy anything except booster boxes” are actually buying cases of booster boxes. Then a few of these investor channels reveal their collection and they have collection boxes, etbs, 3 pack blisters etc. lost all faith in the investors. They’re getting easy views and then buying stuff they’d like to collect or packs to rip n ship with the KZbin money. I 100% agree. You are the big collector (mostly vintage) who shows his collection. NN is the investor (all modern) who has shown some of his sealed investments. PokeMart his podcast partner has a legitimate store in Arizona, that podcast I mentioned with oldcardshop and I think retro are actual sellers who go to shows often. I feel like I am getting authentic information from authentic people not hype beasts copying each other.

PSA is the CGC of cards, and now they are coming after CGC by grading comics😏 What I find cosmicly comical, is people know that both companies' quality control and business practices (I'm including the amounting scandals/incidents i.e. fake grading and damaged shipments) is absolutely horrendous, yet the consumers still want that "PSA 10" and are willing to pay that crazy premium. So the sellers have to provide the product, which enacts the old adage, "It's the cost of doing business"😐 Bro, it was fun while it lasted, but unless you change how you do business, you're in for a rough ride. I personally would love to watch you go to a convention/card show, hunt for that grail, and make these purchases. That would be a fun experience.

Thanks fam! Great write up yeah it’s definitely the cost of doing business and even I know that I can’t expect to boycott the biggest grading company especially when all my cards are already graded by psa 😂 but I hope we can hunt the ultimate grails at collect a con 😎 can’t wait !

Hey you can always put it in the envelope of a business, get your reseller's license, and then not have to pay taxes on eBay :)

@@orionsires I was lazy about it for a couple years and lost at least a thousand bucks or so. But I already own 2 businesses so I just put this in that wing and now I no longer pay those on eBay. It's given me a huge advantage - much bigger than you think.

PSA vault is much slower than the ebay vault, after authentication, hand it to the vault, will take 6 to 10 days to be secured in the vault. I am still waiting for couple slabs to arrive so Just want to withdraw at once.

Thank you for letting me know 6-10 days is still better than a month which I was beginning to feel would end up being the case. Still no update it’s been 9 days now since it was “handed off” plus a few other days to ship so we’re at 2 weeks total now. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Why would any real collector keep their cards in someone else's "vault" where they never get to look at them? 🤷 Seems exclusively for resellers

PSA is for resale only, not for a collector. If you love the card itself every buy is great because there is no investment, it is a collection that you won’t sell but maybe to trade.

Psa bids are for people who pull cards and want to offload them as soon as possible . Auctions are just a bunch of people lowballing each other with the luckiest low baller winning the auction … I hate it
