@@deecee3174 We know that other ppl CAN do it, other than Asian immigrants. But its not always easy to find any nail salons other than those owned by Asians. The non-Asian nail techs Ive seen in my area on IG are all operating from their homes not salons. As many Black women as there are who wear acrylic nails, we should be a dominant group of ppl able to DO nails professionally.

I’ve always been into beauty (hair, nails, makeup) but one day when I was a stay at home mom, I was like “I want my nails done but I don’t want to spend money to keep it up”, so I started doing my own nails.... I hopped on KZbin watched a random video and there it started. Fast forward when I really started getting into makeup, one of your videos pops up on my timeline and you honestly awakened a passion for me wanting to do others nails. Now, I’m enrolling in school for cosmetology and can’t wait to be out here slaying the world. Your work is AMAZING and I love your videos.

I don't do nails and after watching this you made me feel like getting my license that's how awesome you are. To whomever is struggling please do cry and let it out take a deep breath and continue because we need you to do awesome nails and as small as that may be it helps others feel good about themselves with a bom new set of nails baby and refresh that energy. For the past 4 months I have been thinking about picking up nails as an additional hobby that I can make money from (I do makeup). I’ve studied videos and techniques, I’ve got commitments from friends an family as practice for when I do begin, I’ve watched every one of your videos from like the past year... but for some reason I felt that I didn’t know where to start, if I ever began to feel ready enough. At one point I had a Mia Secret Starter kit in my amazon cart for about a week, debating if using that much of my check was worth it. Being in school, working, and having a part time job, I began to fear I wouldn’t be able to start up and be successful. Scared of failure, wasting money, and my own time, I just decided to play it safe and give up the idea of ever becoming a Nail Tech. This video has re-inspired me.. I can do what I put my mind to. Thank you for these wonderful tips.

This video was so helpful. Great advice. Thank you so much. I thought I would need to spend a whole lot purchasing products to start off. I would appreciate if you did another video getting into the legalities of the business start-up. Much love.
