As a nail tech whos all over instagram and tiktok, i started doing acrylic nails at 13 . And practice all day and night it took a while to get better but the more i practice the faster i started doing a better job, 3 years later at 16 i have my own nail business and i do everyones nails for only $60 depending on how much details u want or stones it will be $100 , so to all my starter nail tech girls , u got this and never give up you will get better at doing nails in no time ❤. Practice makes perfect.

@@queen.nakaia basics are only 30 Minutes but designs and stones and what all , takes around an hour , an I went up a price like $130 per client , I realized 60 wasn't enough and for me to be doing everyone's nails bomb , I deserve more

Just be very light handed! That is the key! Being heavy handed can cause ring of fire for your clients and YOU DO NOT WANT THAT!! You only hurt your client if you being heavy handed or if you don’t know where the cuticle is. And ur being to harsh.

Here’s some tips: Season the Files(seasoning is taking another file and filing the edges down to help avoid cutting the skin) also File in one direction (not back and forth), File slowly or it can remove too much(with E-file start @ lower speed 4-6),hold file flat, use a 240 grit..hope this helps 😊

Tysm! That was the most in depth beginner acrylic video I have ever seen. ❤❤❤ you have some amazing skill and those nails are on point girl! I’m going to order some Kierra sky acrylic stuff next time I get paid. I am just getting monomer, cover pink white and clear. I do polygel and gel x and have done my own nails for years. Just afraid of acrylic. But I’m going to give it a try. Is there any other brand you can think of that’s a little cheaper or better for beginners? Hiii thank you soooooooo much! I have never touched an acrylic powder or have any experience with nails but after watching ur vids it helped me to find all the products I need. I have one question tho... I don't have anyone do to it on for practice... i'm the only sister in my fam and i know my parents wont let me use UV light every 5 seconds on myself.. 😅 I want to learn the nail prep as well and i cant really do that with a fake nail training hand from amazon for sum... so i was going to ask u how did you start and how can I learn it without putting acrylic on my hand?

Yes dehydrate then prime. Most dehydrators consist of alcohol and acetone mixed.
