Just because people are out of content and are bored doesn't necessarily mean the game is bad, it just means the game needs development time. The issues he sees just take more time to fix i suppose. He wouldnt have made the video if he didnt care about the game, i think it comes from a good place but he's a bit too doom and gloom about the issues poe2 has. THEY said that it would have a scope of 6-12 months. This means that there is a small chance that it would last 6 months. They said that it would gradually scope up with resets and resets are not happening, the game has been out for 2 months now! Do they plan on having one reset for endgame, one for act 4-6 and one for the missing 24 ascendancies? This is not an EA game, this is a 3 act beta with amazing graphics made by 100-200 people in 6 years that has no hurry to ship a "final product" for another 2 since the main game in maintenance mode for 3 years keeps delivering leagues and love with a small team of 20. Ben said very reasonable things in that video, the gameplay is the same since the only way to compensate for no loot is to kill fast rather than enjoying killing one monster at a time with 3 abilities like johnny intended. And moreover, he said the core of crafting is bad, with the same issues as poe1 (not accessible) as the only meaningful ways to make good items (omens) are expensive and hoarded by crafters while also deleting the meaningful ways to make ssf gear.
