Other signs that its coming is if your moody the week before or you don't feel like you can eat at all for a few weeks. That's what it was like for me

I started my 1st period when I was 13 years old. And it was one of my swimming lessons at School. I missed out on having swimming lesson in my school! I was on the Depo Provera before. But then the Depo Provera made me put on weight. So I'm back on the contraceptive pill.

Most girls start their periods between 10-12yrs old, but their is some late starters.

10-12 yrs is actually quite early (although I started at nine) most girls start at 13-16 yrs

Do not feel left out! Yeah it sucks to be a late bloomer but im sure your friends are probably deep down incredibly jealous of you because periods almost feel like they control your life and everything sucks about periods. There is not one good thing about them other than it shows you're not pregnant 😂 enjoy the freedom while it last

Enjoy it while it lasts! Periods are made out to be this exciting part of growing up when in reality they are just annoying! They make you moody, you have to spend a lot of time in the bathroom, I ruined my bedsheets and a few pairs knickers as my periods are quite heavy and then there are cramps so yeah, enjoy it while it lasts!

I got mine when I was 11. It's not as scary as it sounds. I'm currently 15 and it's just a part of my routine. Start out with pads, then when you are ready, try tampons. Just relax, it's not embarrassing at all, every woman gets it. :)
