I bought 3 blue eyes pre release and 1 psr. I’m feeling the diagonal holo pattern a lot more on the psr tbh

Long-term I think it holds up well. From my understanding, this set was underordered at the distro level since RA02 flopped, so naturally there is low supply out there. Combine that with the massive pool of cards, I could see the sealed doing well. You might have yugi-tubers making videos 5 years from now "Hunting for QCR BEWD/DMG, etc," and that can further increase the demand. This set does a good job of balancing the short-term (meta demand) with the long-term (nostalgia appeal).

I recently decided to collect yugioh cards myself. I got pretty good collection from that pack. I pulled that stamped blue eyes. That’s worth 200$. I didnt know what I had until I read about the rarities.

Maybe they can make the collectirs rare more appealing than platinum rare just make it more shinny glitters pattern while it has a textured pattern is like combination of both textured and shiny of platinum or qcr. So it can be closed second to qcr or better.

I mean....people do play retro formats thats why theres cards in the nostalgic pool like krebons and dandylion etc. 🤷‍♂️

nothing new will be a good investment, as you can see many many many people are hoarding new sets in hopes of making money in the long run. starlight rares are already proof that most of this newer sets are dropping in price because none of this stuff was short printed and theres wayyyyyy more people now with that flip mentality than there was before. the real og fans that own first ed cards that cant be recreated in their original first prints are the real winners here. oh and konami, theyre the real winners too along with all the sellers hypyng up cardboard that has no real asset value. its all controlled guys wake up lol.

Debatable! I think modern Yugioh is actually quite investable long term. Nobody really thought that certain other sets that were “modern” at the time of release had potential either. The liquidity of Yugioh investments is a slightly different story… not nearly as much demand as Pokemon so definitely harder to move stuff

@@alonsoalfredo70 theres more collector/investor mentality now with all card products than it was back then, a lot of this newer cards are been hoarded by many people with the same mentality.
