See, the fact that you DONT stick to one subject for your vlog channel is one of my favorite things about your channel. I never get bored! I miss your get it or forget it videos, your seasonal clothing hauls, and recipe videos. I enjoy your channel so much that I try to never miss a video no matter the content. I feel like we would be friends in real life. I live outside of a small town in north central Iowa with 3 kids, minimalist lifestyle. I just love your family and getting updates/hearing what you have to say. I’ve watched since Henry was 2 and seeing him now makes me feel so proud for you and Andy. He’s such a kind and lovely boy and so mature/capable! Please don’t stop KZbin

Holy Buckets!!! My favorite of your expressions, and I always forget to say it!!😂 You are not allowed to ever leave You Tube!!😯 Who would I watch that I love as much as you and your beautiful family!! You have never done a video that I didn't like!! Please don't let those awful "trolls", I think that's the right word...get your panties in a bunch, they don't deserve an iota of your time, they obviously have no life and want to mess with anyone who will respond. I am so happy for you guys to be back on your parents' farm, what a wonderful area to bring up children!! I would love to see a video on any planting and gardening that you do, any cooking, decorating, shopping, I love your family functions, but I totally get if people are being rude you don't want to involve your loved ones!! I lead a very quiet life so again, any video from you is wonderful to see!! P.S. and by the way that scarf, with that top is gorgeous on you, the color match looks absolutely spot on!!❤

Please don’t retire!! I personally love your “to the point” storytelling lol. It feels more like an update I’d get from one of my friends than a over-dramatic story, which I really appreciate. People looking for drama should look elsewhere. I love the type 1 Tuesday videos of course (being t1d myself), but i also really love your vlogs, but truly I enjoy all of your videos. For ideas (and I apologize if you’ve already done some of these, I was MIA from KZbin for a while): maybe you can show a little more of your daily routine, tips and tricks for diabetes (good snacks, supply storage, dealing with stubborn highs), more of you and Andy (date night?), how you stay on top of housework and chores

We moved to a new home about two years ago and it took a solid year and a bit before we really got to know our neighbours better and to befriend other parents at the local parks, library, etc. It can be a bit lonely in the beginning, and for an introvert like me it can take a bit of guts to put yourself out there and start getting to know new people. But, our circle of friends is definitely growing now and we are super happy in our ‘new’ space! 😀

Nooooo, don’t quit, don’t let the boogers get you down. I really enjoy following your life. My hubs and I retired and moved to a new community. We met people through our church, and the local gym. I then started quilting six years ago, and we’ve met a lot of people through that. It’s hard when you’re not out and working (like we had been) in the community. Could you volunteer at your local library, that’s a place a lot of parents wind up.

Please don't retire unless you aren't enjoying it. A few people being judgy on a couple recent videos should not deter you from doing what you want to do. I've watched for a several years and think you seem kind and real, and have a great family 😊. I found that it took me about 9 months and connecting with other moms through church to start feeling connected to the community and not feel so alone. Maybe volunteer at church or at school to get to know more people. Ask them to get together too! I would guess small/rural towns might be harder to break into friend groups.

Maybe I missed it if you told but didn't you grow up on the farm your parents work now? So did you go to a different school? My mom still lives in the house I grew up in and my girls attended the same school K through 12 that I did. Are there any of your friends from school days living in the area that you might be able to reconnect with? I love when you show farming and a tour of areas we may not have seen would be cool. Maybe a video about growing up on a farm and what you like and don't like about living in the country. There are so many ideas. Take us shopping, maybe do a town tour(unless you'd rather keep that private). Just don't disappear!!

I have just found out today that my Diabetes nurse is going to apply for funding for me for an omnipod after 5 years of battling for it! I live in the UK so it’s very different accessing medical technology here!

People would flip out! I get the worst comments on any video with Henry eating. That boy eats!!! 🤣 We aren't on a low carb diet and have no restrictions. He just eats what we all eat. Maybe I should just go for it and do it anyway. 🤔

I actually think it would be great to see a ‘realistic’ what a type one eats in a day! So many people post videos like this but they’re all super healthy and low carb whole foods! I don’t feel like it’s a true real representation! I say go for it!! 😄

I kind of just like when you chat about whatever LOL but seriously it shows your personality away from the more to the point videos you’re discussing something specific like diabetes or cooking or crafting.
