I live here. That was my childhood neighborhood. That corner I was on many times. I feel devastated. I cry for black men, my children. I feel helpless. I feel that his life was snuffed. we did! hate to say this but the good thing is the protests that followed were IMPACT not seen since the 60s/70s.... i was moved to tears by the unity displayed on my tv, it was addictively uplifting.... it inspired me to renew my performance art skills and I live with a deep connection to my amazing black and p.o.c. sisters and brothers as we co-author a new empathic wave of enlightenment.... free at last?... hopefully, we will be, i pray my words demonstrate my care for black community(as a white lady, i cope with a natural guilt/shame, boo hoo, right!? haha) .... regardless of any outter differences... HOPE and connection to our higher selves is the ultimate antidote to their hateful ways. peace, harmony, joy to whoever reads this
