absolutely the same thing happened with my angelggotchi, i fucked up the the screws BAD. I think they werent made from a very good metal

Definitely Japan you want for replacement screws and future tamas. They are excellent with their customer service and also sell little tool kits to fix tamas.

Wow, that was so impressive when you got those stripped screws out! :o The struggles I had, haha! Mint that is not. :/ Bummer. But, I'm glad you got it running! :D As everyone already said, japanyouwant.com is AWESOME! Hahaha the vintages are so slow in comparison to the connections, it's really quite shocking at first! But, you get used to it. Looking forward to the angel! :D

I found a NIP US tamagotchi angel for $15 on Craigslist and sadly I had to Dremel one of the screws on. It gouged out the battery door a bit but it worked. The screws were basically mush. I hear that's common with these.

@@ChillingwithKakujo i sold it years ago, BUT i just got a Japanese angelgotch 2 days ago. I'm excited to have one again. This one doesn't seem to have soft screws either! Also I love the tamagotchi gbc music in the background

I've found replacement screws for vintage tamas on japanyouwant.com, I'm waiting for two angels and a morino, wanted to be sure to have new screws for them because the angels tend to have soft screws.

Heya! It takes 2 LR44 batteries and I used a screwdriver set intended for glasses maintenance.
