Welcome to my “neck of the woods”. I lived in Roseville for many years and call it home😀. I was talking to my screen when you picked up the Jonathan Adler piece to “get it!!” His pieces are very desirable; it was a very cool vase. The blue bird mug is from the late 18 hundreds. My daughter collects them. They also come in different colors.

I have 2 of the cornflower loaf pan. I use them all the time. It cooks banana bread perfectly. Here is my easy recipe: 3 ripe bananas, 1 egg, 1 stick of melted and cooled butter, 1/2 cut brown sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix. Dry ingredients: 1.5 cups flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp salt. Mix dry ingredients with the banana mixture. Pour in to loaf pan. Bake for 45 min at 350. I add toasted nuts, frozen fruits or chocolate chips.

Aus Liebe heart mold is a candy mold which makes sense considering the translation of aus liebe. They are priced fairly high online. As I’ve said many times, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. May you have 27 more wonderful years together.

If the glass loaf pans burn the bread, I would keep them. The match case is cute, I use them for Q tips in the bathroom. It's repainted, but cute.

I saw a really cute little ironstone personal creamer and two butter pats that you did not look at. Ironstone is not out of favor, it’s just very hard to find in my area. Love the glowing ashtray

Hello Nicole, glad everything is going well. My husband (who is the baker in the family) just found out that you need to lower your oven temperature by 25 degrees when you bake in a glass dish, so maybe that would help your burned loaf pan problems. Love the loaf pan ... I have not seen this piece before. Tip: Whenever baking in a glass pan, set the oven temperature at 25 degrees less (learned this in 4H as a child).

The sugar and creamer on the tray all wrapped in plastic wrap and tape in the first shop looked like they might have been Bizarreware by Clarice Cliff. If they were, they are pretty sought after and quite spendy. The little copper heart says “aus liebe” which is German for “with love”. It’s a candy or cookie mold.

I used Google lens to id the blue mug. It is possibly over 100 years old, Bryce Brothers, EAPG (1880?). Long-eared Owls have a wingspan of 3 feet. Happy 27th wedding anniversary!

Happy anniversary Nicole. 🎉 The little blue child's mug with the birds and the Great Horned Owl is a piece of EAPG made by Bryce Brothers glass. Nice piece. Also love the match holder and the uranium glass ashtray. Lots of good finds. And yes, people collect Jonathan Adler. Be on the lookout for his animal figures, those sell best.

I looked up the Jonathan Adler hand vase (holding the cone), it had a listing of $75 ! My first thought about the box, was it holds your pencils and pens and the box is for your stationary, stamps, and note pads. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Aus liebe is German for “for love”. ✌🏼❤️
