I've never heard of lipstick on an elephant, but I do know they paint their toenails red. They do it so they can hide in cherry trees. Ever seen an elephant in a cherry tree? Works pretty good, doesn't it? ;)

Ideas for regular shows: 1) Why don't you have an Avon show? There's lots of pretty Avon glass that someone else would love. 2) A milkglass show. 3) A bell show. 4) A Christmas show. You can keep adding to these items and collecting all through the year. etc. The burgundy "bell" is probably a clouche. There may have been a wooden base that is missing. Also, you should have picked up the four canvases instead of two. Four make a nice grouping. I'm sure Juliette would have loved another two.

As a floral designer, I only use plain containers and vases, unless someone has their favorite kitch container they want for a holiday. Great vase for 1.99

1:39, a tip, if you peel the GW sticker it will pull the og sticker with it, sometimes there will be a reverse backside of the label it will be in reverse but if do a close up photo then ‘mirror’ it in editing you may get the maker’s name.

I think the honeybee bowl is to be hung because it has two holes on either side where you could thread some wire or rope. If you put rocks in it and fill it with water, the bees can land on the rocks and have water to drink without drowning.

I think the lilac glass dome is a tea light holder. Missing the rubber band on the knob. That holds the dome in place in the candle holder

Hi Jocelyn! I believe the amethyst glass “cloche “ you found is really for a candle, there should be a wire base and the glass would fit inside of it! Perhaps it was from a candle company? I gave something similar to my son & daughter in law as a gift years ago! I don’t remember who made it! 🥰❤️

Tupperware filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. That means they are attempting to reorganize and restructure their debt. They are not, as yet, going out of business. (That would be Chapter 13 bankruptcy ). Things are getting messy right now though, as their major creditors have filed objections with the court to their plans. So we shall see what happens. The creditors, which include Bank of America, could exclude other creditors, take the business, and operate it or simply walk away with the brand. No matter what Tupperware as a brand would not simply go away.
