Danny Gonzalez is a La Croix fiend and he did a tier list, he liked it. It's one of my faves. I remember how awful it tasted when I first tried it, flavor didn't matter. Cutting added sugar in my diet changed my tastes tho. I drank Coke for 20 yrs and now it makes me sick 🤷🏻‍♀️ I bet you could try them all and still hate it. But clearly plenty of people love it. I live in bumf-ck Colorado and they're always sold out of most flavors at Walmart so I would prefer more people hate it. :P

If you want an alternative to la croix that actually has taste, I would recommend spindrift sparkling juice. They can be a bit bitter or sour though depending on the flavor (like lemon) so I add just a bit of agave to make it more pleasant.

Another thing to note is that if you are used to big flavors in things you consume, you are not going to be a fan of La Croix and other similar infused sparkling waters. As your body adjusts to less flavor and sugar, you definitely will start to somewhat enjoy these kinds of drinks. I genuinely did not like these drinks when I was addicted to soda, but I appreciate them much more now that I cut out lots of sugar from my diet (still not worth all the hype people constantly give it though).

@@kalsyphr5039 Totally agree! I grew up drinking an unhealthy amount of soda, and for a long time I had a really hard time drinking enough regular water. Once I was old enough to work, buying La Croix was a life saver. I think people who never struggled with soda will have a harder time understanding what a massive difference there is between La Croix and tap water when you're dependent on soda. The memes are funny, but Seltzer water is a genuinely useful product for kicking unhealthy drinking habits.

I lost my ability to taste sugar, maybe permanently (it's been about 7 months), from coronavirus, so I've come to really enjoy Lacroix since it almost tricks my brain into thinking I'm tasting something sweet. I've recently become an "enjoyer" of La Croix if you will and my favorite flavor is the passion fruit and my least favorites are the hibiscus and the coconut. The hibiscus tastes like soap and I don't like coconut that much but before I tried that flavor the first time, some guy said it tasted like root beer. It does not.

LaCroix is 10x worse when it's not cold. Warm sparkling water in general is one of the worst things out there. As an aside, Hibiscus flowers have been used in teas or specialty drinks for ages (e.g. Jamaica).

As someone who really likes these kinds of drinks, this was still so hilarious. I can't really explain what I like so much about them, but they're just delicate and refreshing to drink. Also you definitely need to drink a couple and recalibrate your tongue before you start even remotely liking it 😂 My favorite flavor is Peach-Pear. Not sure you'd ever go back and try it, but I think it's the best.
