My sister has a noodle recipe which I call “nood ‘n cheese”. You first boil noodles, then you drain the water and put the noodle in a pan (you can also just boil the noodles in the pan). Then you add milk in the noodles until the bottom of the pan is covered with milk. Than you add curry powder and a little thyme. When you mix it, it should look yellow, otherwise just add more curry powder. You add the cheese when the noodles are yellow and creamy and there is a little bit milk left. I personally use sliced dutch cheese (I add like 2 1/2 slices). When the cheese is melted, it’s ready!

Make some Korean/American ramen by throwing in a square of American cheese when it’s done and mixing. Poach an egg in the broth too with whatever spices you want. American GIs in the Korean War would trade their rations with Koreans and they’d throw cheese in their broth. Very popular in fusion and Korean households. I think the problem is the cream/cheese thing in it is too processed and artificial which is why it takes a while for your palate to get used to it. Definitely experienced this “I don’t really like how it tastes, but I can’t stop eating it” with food like this. Also I’m not sure if he’ll love it if he adds spices because the cheese can be overpowering and the spices compete with the flavor of the cheese a little. Maybe herbs instead? Like for pasta?

i dont usually use the cheese packets in the ramen, i make my own cheese instead using the ones from the grocery, and to be honest i got addicted to it, also putting eggs in the noodles really makes it tastier
