That was very interesting. The smile on your face as Siri replied back was cute. I have watch other videos where Japanese people attempt to speak English back to Siri (Changed i settings I believe) Have a great day Komori-san

I thinks it is cute how with the accent Siri sound like Silly. :) There aren't many Japanese KZbinrs who speak English so I think we appreciate your videos more and the great effort you put into them to show us the language and culture.

Wow, some of your explanations are amazing. Love this video. Would love to hear you explain 'Domo'... You might have done that in the past and I missed it. It is a fun, but confusing topic... I worked at a traditional Japanese restaurant for a long time and was the only server that could do it in Japanese... :)

That was fun. Google translate gives "It is sick" for "Kyushuku desu" but I'm going to guess from your explanation that this isn't what it means. To me, your explanation sounds like it might be close to the English phrase, "You are too kind," in response to a compliment. I haven't heard that phrase very often. Maybe its use is more literary than day to day. Maybe it went out of fashion because it could be taken for irony or even used in a sardonic way.

You know very well about Kyou Shuku desu. You can even teach!! Actually, kyou shuku desu is still used commonly in Japan and it seems it quite similar to " You are too kind ( to accept your favor ) . Thanks for your explanation !

Hi Yayoi! This is Mrs. Birzer using Mr. Birzer's account once again without his permission. ;-) Is always so wonderful to see your videos!!! This one is awesome as always! Great idea to converse with Siri in Japanese. It is especially good to hear from you the accuracy and the mode of Siri's conversation. We always learn so very much from you in such a short time because you tell us the 5 W's (who, what, when, where, and why) pertaining to specific words and phrases so we can know how they are properly used in conversation. Your boys are so very fortunate to have a mom who's a natural teacher. Thank you for yet another of your awesome videos and for making this a sunny day!!!!!!! You're so wonderful! Love ya! Phyllis

I would love to have an option for Siri to have a Japanese Accent, but sadly, it's just American English, British, or Australian accents. But regardless, I'm really digging the Japanese lesson. You've got yourself a new sub!!
