Just FYI, a "copy center" in a large facility (like a high-rise) is very much still a thing due to it being far more cost efficient than having individual machines on each desk. It's also usually vastly more capable due to the availability of high end devices, and considerably more secure as well.

This is really cool. So glad you showed it and stuff, probably going to get it as I loved Sim Tower. My only graphics commentary is that people walk through each room to get to the back rooms. I wish there was a sort of foreground hallway and a background shops. But this is just an aesthetic thing.

Never really understood why people don't call the ground floor first floor. It is the first floor you walk on when you enter the building is it not?
@Pangora28 жыл бұрын
As a mailman the first floor is almost always the ground floor in the office buildings I go to. I also know first floors that are partially underground.
@UnknownGunslinger8 жыл бұрын
Well some buildings the ground floor is shops, so the first floor you walk in is just stairs leading to the real first floor which would be the second story. Ground floor, first floor - this is the only thing that makes sense and wont confuse anybody.
@HappyHusbandnWife8 жыл бұрын
It's 2016 !!!
@Dubster99908 жыл бұрын
I thought ground floors were the first floor where noone really lives, and thus the first floor would count from where people would live, effectively the first 'living' floor. I think it all depends on what you choose to count.

@quill18 you are thinking of Isometric drawing. though this is only partial isometric drawing. (correct in it pre-dating computers.) It was the old design style of showing 3 dimensions without needing several 2d layout drawings.
@desertrose06018 жыл бұрын
Actually large companies / office buildings still have copy services - that's not an old thing. For example, a college / university usually always has one to print mass quantities of syllabi and notes for professors, or even bound materials like brochures to mail out to prospective students.

Holy cow. The design of the tower employees (maintenance and the like) are definitely straight out of Sim Tower. So is the non finished floor. I remember having floors filled with ladders like that. Sim Tower was the first Sim game I ever played, it is basically why I only play Sims and strategy games on PC while all the action games are on other systems. After all of that rambling I hope you do more. It will fill the need I have for this game until it comes out.

Have they said anything about different settings for the Towers? That was something I really loved in Yoot Tower (Sim Tower 2), how it had three different locations, each with it's strengths, heights, and buildings. Plus it was supposed to have so many more, like a moonbase! (GOD WHY IT WAS LOST TO THE AGES!? WHY!?) So you can have all sort of cool towers in different eras, or crazy places.

If your elevator went into the sublevels, everyone in your building would move that little bit faster, making them that little bit happier.
