I came for the golf, stayed for the cat jokes and cleansing. Loved this one sir!

So cleansed - ready to take on the gardening! In regards to "centre of the green", I think it's the mentality of not going pin hunting, especially for tucked pins. I tend to play for open parts of the green away from trouble, and hope that my lag putting is good enough to 2 putt. Also, low key liking your hybrid off the tee play! Can't wait for Part 2 where you've shot 42 to hit 85 for the round!

Prepare for disappointment on part 2! lol. And yeah I agree, that's a good way to put it, to not go pin hunting. Not like I can aim that well anyways, haha.

That was a very solid nine holes Andy. Your lag putting is really kept you in the game and you did not have any real blow up holes either. Getting there man and I like that target score of 95. That is a very reasonable score to shoot for with your current HCP. Smart way to play the game and take unnecessary pressure off yourself. Look forward to seeing the back nine. When it comes to that tip about aiming to the center of the green....no man not on board with that one. As you said it IS very situational. Personally I always think it's a better strategy to know where to miss...on every shot, and that goes for approach shots too. You'll avoid a lot more trouble with that strategy IMO.

Yeah I think I have to keep it real, and not make big swings like trying to break 80 or 85. Gotta work on small improvements and I'm confident I can get there. The back 9 was quite the doozy though...hahaha.

Hahah, nice video Andy. This is a great course, and sorry you blew up on the back. I’m going back to Oahu in a couple weeks, can you share that golf store recommendation for the cheaper round? 🙏🏼❤️

That's my golf game in a nutshell; implode in the back 9 hahah. Thanks for checking out the video! And the shop I went to is called OHANA GOLF HAWAII in Waikiki. I think he might have some connections to some of the local courses. 🤙

how's pace of play at this course?
@andy_golfs9 ай бұрын
It's hard to give you an accurate answer since I filmed this back in Oct 2022 while on vacation. I actually got to play as a single. My Grint app tells me my round here took under 4 hours. I'd imagine depending on the season it will vary with how busy it is. I'd give it a try though! It's a fun course.

Right on! Is that the kama'aina rate? Even $120 is pretty steep, and that was a deal I got from someone.
