About the compression... I've watched a few videos saying that pop artists utilize compression to make it sound louder. Pop music is generally played in public areas: the louder the sound, the more attention it draws, and the more revenue it brings in, but it sacrifices rich tones and good quality sounds. It's why old-fashioned people complain that pop music sounds like garbage nowadays.

Michelle Dai I know how compression works. But I really appreciate the research you did. I was just mentioning how Forever Young is so much more compressed compared to the other songs on the album. You would think there would be consistency in the mastering and as a top music company, they wouldn't squash the track so much as they did 😂😂😂

AZWZ Forever Young was supposed to be BlackPink's debut song but they changed it for another song so thats why the song is so compressed compared to the others.(The song says "BlackPink is the revolution" because that was their original catchprhase)
