Let's Try Transport Giant Steam Edition 2014 - Episode 1

I'm trying out Transport Giant a Transport Tycoon like video game about moving things from places to others. Transport Giant appears to be an updated version of a game released in 2004, overall I was very intrigued by the gameplay screenshots of Transport Giant on its Steam Page. About the Game
It's the year 1850 - The world is changing. A new era of mass production and mass transportation has begun. For a smart businessman there are many opportunities. With a little money and good ideas you can establish a business empire. There are new companies founded on every corner. The world is in need of all kinds of goods and the growth of cities is increasing dramatically. But how do the goods get to the customer?
How do the workers get to their factories? And who will transport the huge amount of raw materials? The time has come for a powerful and giant transportation company. Especially transport within the domestic market are increasing to a point where it can no longer be handled easily. You establish a transport company in the year 1850 and try to make as much profit as possible over the next 200 years. You have to establish means of transportation for raw materials, finished goods and for workers and employees to get them to work. Outdo your competitors and make big money in Transport Giant!

One thing I should mention is there indeed ARE random maps on this game. When you select 'New Endless Game' instead of selecting a region, click the little gear on the bottom left. ;)

Only certain types, the storehouse and your company HQ. Everything else is generated by the game.

You're allowed to take a small break to breathe and think. Your constant unbroken stream of uh's uhms and so's are quite annoying in comparison.

You have/had a saw mill to the south (bottom left edge of the map) of where you put the store house as well as another fort to build. Look again.

If you relay roads on under construction roads, they autofinish :)

This game is so god damn buggy and problematic! I cant even use trains because it wont let me.place more than 1 station! Its great in its simplicity, yet, complexity. But it has so many bugs and problems, it's hardly playable. And these devs seem to have no form of communication...

I was wondering why I apparently made no money from my salt and thus I wanted to check on if the game even loads the salt from the terminal to my train. It didn't I don't have a storehouse.

Hi pewpewchewchew !! I am from Morocco so first sorry for my english !! well i just wanted if in this game the passagers have destination like in Transport Tycoon because in OpenTTD they are just like any goods ... you can even transporting them using 2 bus stops in the same city and they will not complain aboiut it :s and that what i hated about OpenTTD

* gasp * How dare you not love Train Fever! * points angry finger * :D Never heard of this game - The camera angle makes me a bit uneasy. It's slanted just a bit more than TTD and RCT. Looks like a solid Tycoon game though.
