Although Chubby Checker originally released this in September 1960, it was the January 1962 re-release that featured at my first year high school fete. It was used in a twist competition which I won at the ripe old age of 12.🕺🕺

It's very gratifying to see my favorite cover band recording for two consecutive weeks songs from the 50s/60s that marked several generations and that have such a good vibe that they could make everyone dance, from an elderly veteran to some curious young person who has liked the song. So excellent voice cast, instrument distribution and this time the stage is one of my favorites, it looks like an enchanted forest straight out of a fairy tale or some Disney classic, something unthinkable for where I live! Happy Sunday to the entire Shut Up & Kiss Me team! ❤

Twist was the first dance I learned when I was a child. Giulia and Alexandra, you did an awesome job: Perfect harmonies and much energy. Maria on the double bass is a perfect background and Andrei and Robert are also perfectionist on the guitars.
