I found this channel while searching for rc videos. I watched two videos from the backyard track and the third video I watched was this one. Suddenly I see that it is a video that was not at all what I was expecting to find. But as I watched, I started to become more and more interested in this story of your radical life change. Wondering if I was in your place. I am so interested in following your trip that I have subscribed to the channel and I will be waiting for the next video. And the most interesting thing is to see that you will also add your passion, rc cars, to your adventure. I sincerely wish you all the best. Greets from Lisbon, Portugal

That’s a brilliant idea and just so you guys know my wife and I and our 3 year old son are doing the same exact thing. Our cabin will be built from the lumber off our land and built by our hands. Congratulations on your wise choice my friends. The best of luck to you and your family ! Enjoy being free.

That's going to be awesome Josh !! I've been wondering why no videos. Definitely half to do videos on your journey . I definitely will watch. I'm following a couple people now , one couple building a tiny house in the mountains of Utah. Trent and Allie , look them up on KZbin . Always loved your videos, and how's the boy doing.

I had a idea if you get a 40ft high top cargo container you can put 2 cars inside it with all your stuff pick up your solor stuff before you leave and ship everything to Hawaii when you get there unload everything and cut the container in half build a deck berween the 2 and a roof and you have a house on the cheap and as long as the containers are the only part touching the ground its not considered a permanent structure You might want to load and unload the container close to port moving a empty container is cheap and easy moving a full one isent You can always turn it in to a garage after your dream house is built

I’m not really off grid I’m hooked up to power I have a well I get my water from a well and have a Septic tank but we were doing that exact same thing we started out in the camper and we now have a kitchen and the living room built one suggestion I can give you don’t go cheap on the floor studs and what I am doing and I’m kind of stuck into it now was building one room at a time so that creates a lot of extra work to get the next room lined up to the original one blah blah blah I do have carpentry skills that’s one thing that’s helped but it’s definitely doable my wife so RN and I take care of mr people good luck

This is an exciting change! I've been feeling the same way for at least a year now. Sick of the BS rat race....and mainland attitude. I miss living where community feels like family. I miss the Aloha spirit. I miss the ocean. I miss the sun. I feel like adding tiny house living to your KZbin channel is going to expand your viewer base massively as well... which will be cool. Stoked for you guys. Making life your own!! Renting has always just felt like improving someone else's life..... not my own. I don't feel free.... that's for sure
