Fluttershy would be mildly offended to hear you describe her as outgoing and sporty. Lol. This is so cute, though! I don’t think Cutie Marks necessarily lay out what the pony is meant to do their whole life, though. Some ponies have very abstract Cutie Marks and hold down completely unrelated jobs (eg. Derpy has bubbles and is a mailmare, Doctor Hooves has an hourglass and is a scientist, Crescent Moon has a moon and is a weather pony, Celestia and Luna used their talents within their career, but have now retired and no longer use those abilities, etc.). Cutie Marks indicate special talents, but much like real life, I don’t think they narrow a pony’s life down to any one purpose. We can be good at a lot of things and enjoy a lot of things. Even if we have a talent in one, that doesn’t mean we have to isolate ourselves from all of the other things that we love to do. You’re not defined by any talents you have. It’s just a talent, not your purpose in life. I think that’s a nice message.

Sorry ! I had said Outdoorsy! Which she is since she’s associated with nature! Also that’s such a fair take, I have no idea why I have equated with purpose and why I talked about that mostly. I still definitely had an existential crisis of what I’d consider my “talent” is. Though I suppose it is art lol!

@@actuallycherub I would agree in not saying it's their PURPOSE but it is basically a guideline for how they interact with the world. Rarity is the best example I think. Her talent is ACTUALLY finding rare gems but her PASSION is design. It's why when she switches her cutie mark with rainbow dash, she still tries to design the clouds in an aesthetically pleasing manner. There's an innate desire ponies want to accomplish in their lives and their cutie marks inform them on their strengths or ways to utilize said passion It's also why twilight got super lucky in both her talent AND passion being magic But even then twilights passion ended up changing into friendship and her talent informed her interaction with friendship, as a form of magic! Idk I think abt cutie mark lore a lot sorry I'm hitting you with my autism beam

From what I remember about the show, a character doesn't need to be a princess to be an alicorn. There was a pony who got power from Grogars bell and became an alicorn. I never understood the gatekeeping of alicorns lol

Cozy glow becomes an alicorn because alicorns are so he most powerful pony. However, in cannon, those who are an alicorn become a princess. Other than cozy glow, who didn’t become a princess because of obvious reasons, we have seen twilight become an alicorn and then immediately have a coronation to become a princess. In fact, they make a point to say now that she is an alicorn, she is a princess.

this kind of remains me of each design I had done of my main pony oc Fantasy Heart and the designs that she has gone through in the years since I joined the pony fandom. Her first design I made her look like how I look in real life. A tanish coat with dark brown curly wavy mane/tail with greenish blue eyes. Her name was Fantasy Tales, an alicorn of her own world that I created to get away from reality and would slip into whenever things got stressful. The world came around a time when I was young and dealing with being bullied. Her cutie mark was a brown book with a castle for a cover. That design stayed for a few weeks until I changed her. Her second design. I kept the tan coat but changed her mane/tail, eyes, and cutie mark. Her mane/tail changed into a swirl of colors. Dark blue to light blue, hot pink to light pink, dark purple to light purple. Her eyes I still regret to this day were a blinding pink. As for her cutie mark it changed to a simple no cover brown book. Her name was Fantasy Tails. Again that design stayed for a few weeks until for the third time it changed. Her third and final design. I kept her mane/tail colors from design 2 and changed everything else. I changed her coat to a somewhat light pink like a very light pastel pink. Her eyes changed to a warm shade of purple while her cutie mark changed to a sun with a pink heart on the left side. For the longest time I simply called her by my screen name CelestiaFan Forever as I didn't know what her name should be until years later when I finally give her back her original name. Fantasy Heart became her name. Her cutie mark design stayed for years until a year ago. I felt like it was time to give Fantasy Heart a cutie mark of her very own. I started to look into different types of cutie marks and choose a quill feather. I made it navy blue with light blue highlights I got from the light blue part of Fantasy's mane and added that in then added some purple and pink to the mix. Even kept the pink heart on the left side cause I find it cute. I look at Fantasy Heart and her past two designs and though they are design they're still the same pony of the past and present. My profile is even of Fantasy Heart that I myself drew.

I totes understand that 'Brony' thing. I never considered myself a brony i've been watching my little pony since I was like 5. but there was a phase in highschool where everyone is like 'I need to look Grown and Cool!' i got over that phase pretty quickly. I asked myself why another person's opinon of a show decide if I can enjoy it? I like cartoons and animation in general! Watch what you like so long as it's not hurting people or exploiting them in any way I mean obviously. a show is a show let people watch thier soaps in peace.

The reason I found this video is because I was making a Pony OC recently I learned about how the different body shapes worked and cool facts about horses and then I wanted to marry sue my character by making them an alicorn but then I hated the wings so now they're just a unicorn with a Time motif and their cutie mark is a sand timer because one of the main things about me is how I like planning for the future and preparing everything for that😅 also sorry I am not going to try to grammar this it is 5:00 in the morning and I have not gone to bed😅😅😅
