loved the video! i was just looking for an artweaver review but i ended up watching the whole thing lol also krita does have a navigator and names for the brushes, if you hover your cursor over one of the brushes for a few seconds it'll show you what its called, and for the navigator you have to go into settings, dockers, and then press overview, its not the best navigator but it works, also you can actually adjust the stabilizer in krita, its just kinda annoying to do so. just mess with the distance and delay until you get something you like!

Unless I'm very wrong, clipping layers in krita work through alpha locking (which you can apply to brushes and layers) which limits the pixels a layer can colour in/change to those of the layers below either to all the layers if your active layer is not in a group or the layers below within the group; which kind of works as it's own little painting and allows you to do some fun stuff with alpha locking things to different area*. So the way to make a clipping layer is (in your case) colouring in what you want to have coloured in in an extra layer and then applying lock alpha to all layers above you want it to apply to. *I mainly use this to use several "layers" of sketches in my sketch pages. Make a group to put your current stuff in, work in that group, if you're done make another group to fill up. Everything is specific tot he group itself and you can easily hide everything.

this is a very neat and more importantly succinct video, I'm a fan!

I'm surprised FireAlpaca wasn't on your list. It's my go-to free program. :D
