I love that clematis. I can’t wait to plant some perennials this fall, but we are still in the 90’s 🥵. I planted some pentas and they are mad at me. Thank you for the video!

Hi Jenny! I’m one of those Texans that’s been in the 100s. 😩 Thankfully the 90s and higher 80s came in for this week! 👍🏻 Question…why don’t we want the coleus’ to bloom? 🫶🏻

Yay for cooler temps!!!! It’s not “bad” for coleus to bloom, but since it is grown primarily for its foliage we want the energy to go into making a full, bushy plant. By pinching it back (preventing it from going to flower), it makes a nice full plant. At the end of the day, it’s total personal preference on whether you you let it flower or not.
