I work for the Cardinals as an usher and there was one day in 2022 that we were doing giveaways. There was one visitor that kept on bugging me for another giveaway which I couldn’t do because I could risk getting in trouble with my manager. The visitor said to me, “Surely, you can spare at least one.” I finally got frustrated and said to him, “I can’t break the rules. And don’t call me Shirley.” I don’t think he got the joke, but my coworkers and managers certainly got a laugh out of it.
