you do so many fun pastimes with so much to create amazing meals plus your garden and culinary skills. yes like many total tackle rat lol. but sitting waiting for a feed to swim by lol. spent so many nights with a great cousin catching prawns half the night wading with lights. then watch the vultures steal our cooked catches refusing to go out and get them. even wanted us to peel them.

Nice looking meal,cant beat fresh. Remember the old days dragging a Prawn net down at Point Walter years ago. Me being 6ft 4 always got the deep end and bloody near drowned in some of those big holes. Got a good feed of Prawns back then to. My favourite is King Garlic Prawns, well Garlic prawns in general really. Keep em coming

Keep the shells, cook them in a pot with garlic and ginger and a spring onion, cover with water and simmer for about 20 minutes, strain off and you have a fantastic prawn stock for Curry Laksa or a base for noodle broth - too good to throw out or compost, especially since they are soooo fresh!
@SaltyFishosStaySalty9 күн бұрын
Hey Brother every now and then we do that, we have to much stock from fish frames and heads... but blend the shells up for the schools or compost 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
