"Let Us All Unite and Celebrate Together" stands as the anthem of the African Union (AU), encapsulating the spirit of unity and celebration across the diverse nations of the African continent. The poem, originally titled "Proud to be African," was penned by the acclaimed Ethiopian poet Tsegaye Gabre-Medhin. The musical composition is the work of the skilled Kenyan choral composer Arthur Mudogo Kemoli. The anthem has a rich history, having served as the anthem of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) since 1986 before being adopted by the newly established African Union in 2002.
