I moved to a new country searching for a new life little did I know this journey would be difficult, to me life back home was perfect , I had a great job , I had my family. Some would say what more do I need. But I knew once I had moved the lord had bigger plans for me. I cried everyday, I almost lost my mother and I couldn’t go home and see her cause of COVID-19. I was losing my mind , I faced depression and thought of suicide but listening to this has made me realize I was stepping out of the old me and this is the new me. There was nursing, juvenile defense attorney, gospel singer, even minister. The nursing, gospel singing, and getting into the ministry was due to my role models. They were my aunt that passed from cancer, my mom raising us alone - she'd sing all day everyday such a beautiful voice, and my grandmother that I never got to truly know after passing when I was little. All of these women gave me the greatest gift and that was the knowledge of God's love, the knowledge of the sacrifice Jesus made for me, and the knowledge of self love. Not sure how or why I get so distracted from those lessons.

This message came for me and when she said “I’m holding on to an expired version of myself” she shook my core. BeCause growing up I created an imagine of what I wanted my life to be like. I just want to share this🥺🥲 I’m in a really uncomfortable place... I know God has placed me here because he is still providing and I’m being challenged and pushed in sooooooo many ways. Because of Covid I’m stuck in school longer than I wanted I run Track for my university. I used track to get me here because I have no other support. My track season was canceled for two years. Now I’m graduating with me BA I’m back at the start line. I’m still on scholarship and have 2 more years of eligibility to run. Just when I thought I would be finishing. And I’m running on fumes😢. I don’t know if I have anymore to give but God says I do this faith journey is so real and I don’t know what’s on the other side of this mountain but this strengthened my faith. I’m letting myself go anything from here is all because of God!😩😢💕 I have a meeting with the Masters Program today keep me in your prayers!!!
