I love how each creature is given such a unique mechanic from Zeekers; the flying of the Tulip Snakes, the activation, hostility and rockets of the Old Birds to the assassin-like behavior of the Butler alongside the knife item.

I imagine a clip, if not animation, of someone running from a dog, and got grabbed by 3~ of them, the guy was like "oh god, oh god, oh fuck", yadda yadda. The moment they latch on, he goes "Yes, Yes, YES!" and flies off, narrowly avoiding a charge from the dog, and flying off to the ship with them.

I don't know if Zeekerss is doing this intentionally or not but I feel like he's opening people's minds to the acceptance of unconventional animals. These guys have a mouth like a carnivorous plant and the eyes of a spider and can kill you, but we all agree they're adorable, much like the hoarding bugs, spore lizards, and sometimes even the spiders. I feel that in a weird way this could open people's minds to be kinder to the 'ugly' things they encounter in daily life like rodents and arthropods.

they come on until they want to leave just like normal. I would advise waiting if possible because they can become more of a nuisance indoors, especially if multiple get in.

The implication that these lil guys are doing what they do cuz they want to get laid is fucking hilarious and just makes them more goofy. Also the bit in Sigurd's log talking about how they carry heavy items for the purpose of trying to get laid and preforming tug of war over them may imply that they could spawn in facilities and carry scrap around. Perhaps they may even attempt to tear the player and other creatures apart, referring to the entry about them engaging in tug of war with rival males over an object. Even if this change comes I will still cherish these cute lil fuckers.
