This is the first release I’ve been excited about in a long time. I loved Dexter and even though the eyeshadow palette isn’t necessarily my go to colors, I love how the creativity. I also love the look of the brushes and may get a lip stain. Thank you for your thorough and honest review!!❤❤

I loved this show and the first book, I even named my heart dog after him lol 😆 so I am definitely interested in every part of this collection but my bank account says no lol 😝 but if I could get one thing it would be the highlight 🤩 I know myself and I wouldn’t use anything else to make it worth it but it’s so so pretty!! I don't think there's supposed to be a straw in the highlighter because it looks to be an airless pump. A straw would keep it from working properly. Look on the bottom and see if there's a small hole you can push a toothpick or something through to push up the base while you or someone else pumps or while you have the lid off (warning: the latter is the potentially messier method). Sometimes, if an airless pump isn't filled with enough product (too much air space left in the chamber), the pump itself can't create the suction it needs to work. Hope that helps!

I.loved the Dexter series in fact there is a new spin off the show that Michael C Hall produced it's starts with Dexter as a child ,his first kill with Harry's approval. The cast is awesome. They really resemble the original cast. It is narrated by Dexter. Great video, thanks for sharing. I need facial brushes so bad, but hubby's Mirage Hotel and Casino closed July 19 th 2024. He did go with a different casino but he is on call so we are on a no buy anything so far this year. I have to see my surgeon next week then my Oncologist that's $40 a pop, then eye exam and I know my prescription changed this year, then a dermatologist both in February.❤️👍✔️💯❗

I LOVE a red eyeshadow, especially a good matte red that's a true red instead of pink or orange leaning. How similar are the reds in the Dexter palette compared to the Avatar Fire Nation palette?

The 'Luminol' highlighter uses an airless pump, perhaps? If it has the tiny hole or two tiny pinholes in the base. It might take a very long time (it did for Rachel Palmierii) pumping to create a sufficient vacuum to pull the plate upwards towards the spout🤷🏻‍♀️

Man I tried pumping it for AGES and I went back to it several times trying to get it to work. Frankly, if that’s how it’s supposed to be then I don’t think it’s a user friendly component even if I could get it going eventually 🤣 I’ve tried a *whole lot* of makeup products that I don’t have to bargain with nearly as much so I’m gonna stick with those 😅

I wouldn't get much use from a second black-grey-red palette, so maybe I'll finally grab the Spellcraft palette along with the Dexter lip items. I love the colour shift of the highlighter but I also dislike glitter highlights so I don't think this one is for me.

Absolutely love your review ❤ Am a fan of the whole CSI genre but I haven't watched Dexter 😂 Lethal did an amazing job with this BUT the Avatar collection was out of this world. I like the packaging for the lippies and luminol (I like liquid highlight but at 40,I'm staying away from 'em cheek sparkles that will enhance my pores and fine lines)

Nothing is truly new imo. ColourPop def did this red and black valentine palette ages ago. Glamlite did a few before the crow came out and certainly they weren’t the first either! I believe the ghost face returns and the Chucky in love one (I can’t remember the name) both came out before the crow one did 🩸

I remember a little Kat Von D one from like pre-2010 (me=👵🏼) so as long as there have been glam goth babes, black and red palettes have been around 🤣 Keep in mind that these items are in development for AGES, especially something like this lethal one with so much custom tooling required. Certainly it would take at least a year, likely quite a bit longer, to get to a finished product.
