Most don’t have the bottle to use tools though geez. Don’t get me wrong most people can do anything in moments of anger, but plotting someone up sober and poking them or slashing or worse, is something not many can do. Lots of great fighters out of Canning Town and other areas in the East End, but the really feared people were / are always people willing to do things others aren’t. There’s not many that are willing to go all the way, and it’s those people that were/are very feared. People willing and able to kill, and not only that know that they will get away with it. Lots of very notorious firms come out from Canning Town and Customs house especially, The Canning Town lot, along with the firm from Islington ran London through the 80’s and 90’s. Very serious people, and Vic was well in with the Canning Town lot and had their respect. I know this program is cringy af, but Vic Dark was a well known face back in the day.

They already went through that part, the part about feeling bad for the victims, the unfortunate part is it's forced and it happens very fast, it's a defense mechanism for humans. It's not personal towards the victims they accepted the fact that they're going to live there forever and immediately start to organize their life before and, their life on the inside. It doesn't mean they don't have any remorse or don't care about the victims feelings at all

To be fair it sounds like this lad did the classic action movie move of saving his friend by drawing all the attention to him once he got his mate to a safe place where he could later get away and he also cant stress enough how prison is the last place you ever wanna be. Everything else he’s done seems pretty scummy but you gotta give credit where credits due. Sometimes peoples past can overshadow what their trying to do now which is counterintuitive if you want a better society.
