Mel Gibson is such a good actor. Why? Watch his face, but more importantly, watch his eyes! In majority of his movies, if not all of them, you see the realism in his eyes. Craziness, love, fear, realization, etc. It is all in his eyes.

@Mr. Joseph Sorry to be that guy, because I do have spiritual beliefs. However no. Just no. All the horrible shit we as humans endured, Racism, War, Classism, Famine, Disease were not part of God's plan. Because if it were then either we failed miserably or he is one of the biggest assholes in the universe. In the beginning the world would have been plentiful for everyone, we would have lived in harmony, peace, the only times we'd have conflict would be in competitive sports. However some people and I'm not gonna name who because they always switch around every 1000 years. Some people introduced the idea that if we didn't have more than others, that we'd be lesser people for it. Whether it was money, land, food, you name it. Because of those jerks, instead of bringing us closer together and living in peace, we all struggle just to get a roof over our head and food on our table and for what? Pieces of plastic and paper that say you can have this for that? God didn't turn us into greedy assholes out to kill each other at moments notice, we did it ourselves. If he's letting it happen, then someone must of done something to really piss him off and turn his back on us.
@Shanethefilmmaker4 жыл бұрын
@Mr. Joseph Dude, first off, Jesus died for all human sins. Asking us to repent shouldn't be necessary unless the man himself comes down and asks me. Also don't act like you haven't sinned before you cast rocks at me. That kind of double talking bullshit, is why many atheists hate religious people, because that stuff makes us all look bad, whether you're Christian, Muslim, Jewish or in my case Pagan. Third you say put your faith and trust in Jesus alone. Guess what, by saying that no matter how much you praise God, you basically threw him under the bus and I don't think Jesus would tolerate you omitting his dad like that. The man tore a marketplace with his barehands because he saw greed perverting a house and land of worship. Think on that.
@Shanethefilmmaker4 жыл бұрын
@Mr. Joseph Because the first thing you said in response to what I said was to repent my sins. Without a single mention of your own to back that shit up, it makes you come across as holier than thou. A lie of omission is still a lie and because you omitted that part of your life, you may as well be giving God the finger. Asking one to repent their sins is a waste because if we have to say sorry for every bad thing we done in our life then what did Jesus die for? Huh? Because it sounds like from your words that he died for nothing. I'm well aware of my own sins and any repentance I ever feel obligated to do, I do by trying to make up for them. The only problemd I have is that are what followed: with all the bad shit I've witnessed in the past 25 years of my life both in my own circle and the world outside, they all have one thing in common. No miracle, no sign of divine intervention and on the other side of the coin not one prediction you fucks ever preached came true regarding the end of days. By the logic of that book you're preaching, the end of the world should have happened 20 years ago, but it didn't. Yet I have yet to see a sign from God or Jesus, that everything's gonna be ok and the words of Preachers as much as you love to see yourself that way, mean nothing more than false hope to me, with others like you telling me nothing more than the different reason's I'm going to Hell for. How bad does it have to be, for God to show up? How bad does it have to be for all of this to either resolve itself or end with us dead and raptured? Because last time I checked, with the recent pandemic going on, it can't possibly be any fucking worse. And the only reason why nothing happened yet, is because like I said, some people, have pissed him off to the point where he said "You're on your own." This isn't Earth. This may as well be Hell.

You know, given their military backgrounds, I would figure that Murtaugh and Riggs would both carry an M1911 A1 Colt .45, each. If not as their primary sidearm, then at least as a backup weapon, worn around the ankle. Or, perhaps for home defense.
@georgerafa50418 жыл бұрын
Have you ever held a full size 1911? They are big guns. Way too big for ankle carry. And being vets doesn't mean you liked the service weapons you used. Maybe they could bring back unpleasant memories of friends dying, maybe you hated them cuz they genuinely suck or were unreliable, maybe you just want something new and fancy...etc. I hated the M16/AR15 platform when I got out of the Army (just 3 years ago) and I bought over a dozen AKs before I finally decided to give ARs another try. Having modern ARs instead of 30 year old pieces of shit that had been mishandled by generations of dumbasses was the cure and now I love the AR15 platform but it wasn't exactly love at first sight. I had to rediscover it from scratch since the Army had left such a sour impression.
@LV_FUD807 жыл бұрын
A lot of departments won't allow their officers to carry a 1911, because it's a single action. Most departments, including the LAPD, require a double action weapon.
@SaftonYT7 жыл бұрын
Uh, why? I don't even think the 1911 was permitted issue to the LAPD during this time period except perhaps for SWAT. And being ex-military has little to nothing to do with your sidearm preference. Good luck carrying a full-size 1911 in an ankle holster.

Maybe he checked if he had a bullet chambered, before ejecting the mag. Would make sense since they just walked out of the station.
@ThePangia6 жыл бұрын
This is a very common way to prevent your gun from unintentional discharge as even when someone unauthorized gets an access to the gun, it won't shoot at a first pull of the trigger since the chamber is empty. Even back in the days of Wild West some gunslingers were leaving one chamber in revolver empty as a kind of safety, especially when double-action revolvers has been created. Besides, when someone wants to see your gun, you always make sure it is unloaded. Though, in case of Beretta, it actually has a safety lever that should lock the slide and disallow it from moving at all, thus making it unable to shoot.
@MUJUNKY5 жыл бұрын
he toggles the slide lock, when its handed back to him you can the slide is locked backwards. after he locks it he takes the mag out. I do that all the time with my M&P.
