takes me a long time to get an outline like that. By the time I'm done, I get to scared to color it

thats why i spend only 20 minutes on a sketch and usually its a rough sketch and probably innacurate proportions and i just fix the proportions along the way with the coloring and shading, you'd be surprised how much you can fix/erase/cover up when working with markers or colored pencils

I usually mark the more important colour transitions with very fine pencil lines that aren't visible in the final drawing. That way I have much more control over how I color.

This Ciri fan art is so detailed and amazing. I haven't watched your videos in a while, I was worried about my GCSE results. I got them back and it turns out I passed all of them and got myself 11 GCSEs for 11 years of education. Thanks for the videos that got me through and kept me creative- I was so creative I got an A for textiles which I wasn't expecting because my art and ideas never seemed to mix the way I want. I even got a first prize award out of my class based on my design coursework. I like how this came out you should do a drawing from Final Fantasy Advent Children because it's more of a realistic feel so you can try using copics for having a realistic skin effect :)

Hello! another request; The 3D animation-Ajin. It's a kinda tragic dark anime, so if possible draw any character, in a dark tone sorta. If you're into kinda creepy, eery, mystery mediums, then you should watch it. The animation might be putting of at first, but you get used to it. Can't wait for seasson 2!

Hi Chris, if you could choose 2-3 coloured Copic markers for skin tones, which ones would you choose? I haven't got any skin toned copics which means most of the time I have to leave the skin of my characters blank

Hi Rishi! For drawings like this I like to use Pinkish White (R00), Pale Grape (V91), and Light Grape (V95) for the base. And then I add warmer colours over the top, such as Pale Heath (V000) and Blush ((R20). Hope this helps.
