What of pencils to use.?

What a beautiful eye idk why I keep doing and trying it's obvious that I will never be able to do anything even recognizable as an eye. Been trying for over decade to draw an eye and only got worse. Should never try if u know u can't do it. I'm not a smart person nor a good drawer not even ok at it need to get it outta my head that if I keep trying ill get better. Like really why would I get better. Got only worse what a waste of time paper pencil , life.
