@@helloitsnicko its not rocket league and was never meant to be, people just assumed it was supposed to be because it used some of the rl cars, stop comparing it to rl and you might find it to be a decent minigame. EDIT: To be clear, I highly agree this map is a perfect example of what I wanted from Rocket Racing, I just don't understand why people thought it was going to have precise RL mechanics.

yeah; ultimately it was a rocket league *themed* minigame, made for fortnite players. Fortnite is just that much more of a successful IP than rocket league, creating a minigame like this with rocketleague mechanics geared towards rocket league players may be exactly what we as RL players want, but it's nowhere near as profitable for Epic to invest their time and money into. Really unfortunate, I would have loved a rocket racing game-mode within the existing rocket league game with the same mechanics.

Personnally I've tried my best to be on the leaderboard top 3 but Delcorr Regser and Dansku are just on another level of gaming (I gave up and finished 5th). Big gg to them and I hope you'll do another challenge like this in the future!

i nearly managed to steal away 3rd place, but my downfall was my procrastination and a choke at the end of my only promising run before the deadline came up. its a great map with even more interesting and cool tricks that i found on top of the ones found by others so i hope to set a worthy wr using all known strats at once at some point when i feel up to the task of repracticing everything properly from the beginning all over again and spending the time to grind for such a long and mistakeless run that id like to set

The "best possible" is not what TAS does though. In fact, put simply TAS itself would still just be you with a rewind feature. Even if you used machine learning with TAS, that's going to take toward an infinite amount of time to find the "best possible" time. It's practically impossible for anything or anyone to ever find the best possible time. There is a best time, yes, but there is only a single best time out of infinite times. You'll never find it.

@@dnew30000 Sure if you already know the absolute best path and you're trying to follow that, but you're not going to use TAS to find the best path. If you know what TAS is you'd understand that it's not a magic trick. There's still skill involved, you still have to be good at testing different paths with good maneuvers etc. And it'd take ages trying to perfect every part. Then later on someone will halve your time you thought was the best and you'll be mad you spent so much time rewinding in TAS to get your time etc. There's videos on RL TAS.

Leth, was the zero boost platforming test intended to work in the way it does? Let me explain. When I completed the first one in Bronzeville, I noticed that when I land on a platform and try jumping again, it uses my second jump somehow instead of registering it as my first jump. So when it does that, my second jump immediately goes away (because I am using my second jump at that moment). This can only be countered by waiting half a second before jumping again which I’m not used to (because when I play in freeplay I tend to jump immediately after landing). So I’m just curious about this and how it works here.

This is easily the third time ive asked, im pleading. How the hell can i get all of the textures to actually load on the island so i can enjoy it? Ive tried to get them from friends, even from the guys that play with MsMachoTTV, and still the textures dont load and anything thats a projected texture just loads as blue and white blocks. I cant see the challenges, icons or descriptions on signs, etc.
