just to clarify @lethamyr the whole spectating thing is a season 6 glitch on xbox, if you are in a casual match and continue, but have to wait for a game the xbox players don't load in correctly and have the spectator issue after the first goal, technically he was spectating the entire time. if you had 3 xbox players and a pc player do that you'd technically be able to have a 7vs4

Rocket League's server lobbies are limited to 10 people so you wouldn't be able to do more than that, technically.

Vid idea: Unbind scoreboard and do the same thing , either this or lowest / highest scorer buys. Would make it interesting so you have to guess how many points you or your tm8's have.

With lowest/highest I'd agree as you can sort of guess. But for average I think it's too hard to know and is just a lucky dip unless one player has scored about 5 goals.

Unbinding score board would make this way more interesting as people wouldn't know the scores and it would make it a lot more suspenseful to find out the scores near the end.

That glitch has happened to me a couple times. One time I was the glitched car. Everyone else in the lobby was invisible for me but apparently they could all see me. Once a goal was scored, my car disappeared, but my camera stayed stuck exactly where I was. I was moved to the Spectator team, but wasn't able to see the goal replay, and just stayed stuck in that spot until I got kicked for being AFK.

Seems to happen when you stay in the same lobby. It hasn’t happened to me since I’ve left every lobby after the game. I got banned for five minutes because the bug happened multiple times to me. It was fun

I have a replay of this. There were 4 of us on one team and 3 on the other. It was 3x3 mode, but we had a bit with us for about 45 seconds.

For those confused about Tac, *if you stay in the lobby after a casual match and don't find another team immediately (and end up in the lobby freeplay), there's a high chance you'll glitch out and end up like Tac*. You can't see any of the players on the field, can't open the start menu or do anything besides drive around and boost. You can't even use ballcam. You can still see the ball moving around and boost being picked up by the people in the game, but once the first goal is scored, you get despawned and have to close RL to fix the issue.

That glitch that you encountered has been happening a lot when searching for games in casual. Been happening since new season came out and it usually happens when you’re in (freeplay mode) searching for opponents

I've also been experiencing a glitch in competitive modes where my match end screen thinks I'm in casual, amd has a ready button instead of the play again button. The others in my party just have the regular screen, and trying to manually "change mode/playlist" just gives me a "[party member] is in an online match" error. So all three of us have to exit before we can re-queue

That five car glitch happens all the time to us (usually 3 while playing 2v2)....its honestly sooo annoying bc as soon as a goal is scored or someone demos you, your game freezes. If that person scores, it says their name and says they scored but it doesn't give them any points obviously, since they're not on the scoreboard. They can also move around before the kickoff, but freeze in place during the countdown. They can't see any of the opposing players and can't turn ball cam on.

HORSE RACE! Each player of your team chooses a player of the opposite team to... sponsor? ...idk. Highest score wins(3 must buy pack), or lowest score loses(1 must buy pack). This will make you guys try to assist 1 of your opponents, while trying to sabotage the others.

Hey leth, has anyone ever suggested a half-court offense vs defense style map before? Like half an RL pitch where one team is only attacking and one is only defending, and then they switch at halftime to see if the 2nd attackers can get a better score. I think it could be fun to see what both sides do when counterattacks aren't a thing to constantly worry about

I will explain for there were 5 people in the match. SO it is a glitch in pubs, where like a player in casual will press ready up and go to the next match even if there are none, that player will be alone in a lobby with ball and play around till people comes like freeplay but in an actual lobby. So, as it is trying to find players, the guy dc or something goes wrong with rocket league idk what and this cause him to stay in that lobby/ freeplay type thing untill he closes rocket league, you cant do anything inside. This is because a new game loaded and it didnt connect for him. SO he just sits in the lobby while others are playing. BTW he can see the ball being hit by players but cant see the players. SO he can chase after the ball and even hit it and it changes in-game as well for the actual players - you guys. SO in your game, TAC the guy that was near the ball in the begining was the guy that got glitched and outlaw was just a bot in game that is a substituion if there are not enough players.

14:00 That bug with the extra car happened to me on Friday in a 2s game xD *I'm guessing it is because of that "new" matching thing on game start that does not show nameplates nor player's icons until kickoff time (bug i guess?). Idk in your game (for the collider part), but on mine the extra car still had collision, so it would hunt around for the ball and stealing boosts. 🤣

That bug was really weird. You should try playing with no name tags and everyone has the same decal. Like some sort of mystery teams lol Unless you've already done that and I missed it.
