Saw them 91 at Melbourne Uni. A kid from my high school climbed the PA stack and landed on top of the pit from 20 feet up almost stopped the gig. I think that might have changed the bands stance of stage diving. Was a great gig got a lift home from the same kids crew they were year 12s I was year 11. would have been a 35 km walk. I was walking down King St past this gig on the night and thinking: Jeez, a lot of punks about! Newtown at the time was an interesting balance of sub-cultures...but a gig like this would tip the balance occasionally. Later, the bar stools would be flying at the Oxford :) Also, the Burland wasn’t used that much for gigs by this point, but had a great market for used vinyl and clothes.
