The description for the light given said 17 inches, however mine is 14 inches. I was going to return it because of that and didn’t. I’ve used it once to germinate some seedlings and was in awe of how bright the lights are and how well the plants grew. Great product!

I enjoy your videos very much! I was so sad to read today that Aerogarden will be going out of business on January 1.

Looks like the cuttings are used to support the tray.

My experience with this unit isn't very positive, unfortunately. From small issues like the pods being far too loose inside the grow deck, the grow deck having unnecessary holes that need to be plugged or the fact that the light cannot be turned off without powering off the entire unit, to a pretty major issue like the unit starting up with lights pulsating endlessly from off to on - to which the only solution right now is manually powering it off and back on every morning. On top of all this, when the unit came it smelled so bad, like a bucket of solvent or glue was dumped inside. Not something you want to smell in a product that is supposed to grow you food. To their credit, Letpot support is helping me resolve the lighting issues. And the unit comes with accessories so it's not totally bare bones. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but in the future I will 100% stick to Aerogarden, which to me personally is on a different level completely.

Did you have any luck with their customer service?

@Jaime8908 yeah, they're pretty responsive. They did send me a replacement adapter because they suspected it may help. It didn't. Not sure what's next.
