Hi, great video! I misplaced the Quickstart guide, so it was very helpful when you explained that the top is a telescopic arm that extends upward. I was very reluctant to pull the light cover up from the base until I saw you mention it.

So you have to turn off the water pump and lights manually after 16 hrs and turn back on after 8 hrs off, it doesn't automatically turn on and off by itself?

Everything is automatic, so you just turn it on and it does it's thing. Just make sure to keep an eye on the water levels and feed when needed. I set up a calendar message to remind me to add plant food on my Alexa device.

what kind of romaine lettuce seeds are recommended

We use it for a lot of herbs, so I don't have a lettuce recommendation.

Hey there thank you so much ! I’m just curious how long it takes for the herbs to start growing I’ve had mine set up and ready to go for a couple months now just the way you described and demonstrated and I still have nothing did I do something wrong or do they just take time

That is going to depend on the type of seeds you are using, but it should tell you on the back of the seed packets you used. I started getting growth in about 2 weeks and all of them in amount 1 month...so if you are 2 months in with nothing growing your seeds didn't germinate.

What happens if u put too much of plant food A?

I would imagine it would harm the plants just like over fertilizing in the garden. If they start to die that might be why.
