@@Simiiiyah and do you think that helps the majority of kids that act up? Because from what I’ve seen, they continue to do the same shit over and over again, years at a time, until they grow out of it or decide that they don’t want to get into trouble anymore. Hitting children (from what I’ve personally seen) comes from lousy parenting mostly. Parents who wanted to lay down and have a child but not put in the time and effort to discipline their child through conversation and then taking action. People can argue with me if they want idc 🤷🏾♀️💀

@@Simiiiyah That is not meant to be literal. It means if you don't discipline (there are many other ways to discipline a child) your child they will be spoiled. Do you really think the bible wants parents to be assaulting and abusing their children? He calls children gifts. I doubt you take every aspect of the bible this literal. Beating a child is abuse. What you can't do to an adult you should not be doing to a child. I really hope that you will research the effects of this barbaric practice.

To be honest, a lot of plastic surgery patrons are unhappy with their end results and so they continue to get surgeries. A lot of time the insecurities do not go away and people would much rather go BIG or unproportional to their body, rather than get a naturalesque, small adjustment. There is a lot of body dysmorphia. Nah because when I feared my mum I couldn’t tell her anything, meanwhile I was depressed crying to sleep everyday crying in school everyday and yet because I had fear for my mum I never told her because I was scared of what her reaction would be. Now that I have a better relationship with my mum I have only just now told her about it (although I have now overcome it this was years ago) and she didn’t realise this whole time, only saw that I was constantly down but just thought it was hormones bc of puberty. That’s why I’ve brought it upon myself to make sure my children are able to speak to me about anything (ofc they’ll hide some things that’s natural) because I don’t want my children to go through what I went through and not get the help I needed simply because I feared my parents. Also for safety reasons too, when your children go out they should be able to tell you where they’re going and not be fearful to do so imo

The convo about parenting is so important. I think there are more ways to raise your children than simply verbally or physically and unfortunately a lot of parents don't do the work to find out how best to communicate with their kids. these are humans that you've brought to this earth and have been charged with taking care of. I think people aren't parenting with the right mindset and often opt for what they know/have been brought up with. Personally, I think people should view parenting as the hardest task you choose to partake in and you have to make sure you're using all the appropriate tools available. anyway tldr; don't be lazy with your parenting.

I agree "stop raising traumatized children", however what I want to clarify is that trauma can be mental/physical or both, so I defo agree for the need for balance when it comes to talking/ beating kids because as Prisca said sometimes talking can be more traumatizing than beating and the same case the other way round (or both). Learn to know the limit of how far to go with whatever method you decide to discipline your children with.
