Honestly? These days I watch everything at either 1.5 or 2 times the speed simply to be able to watch more things in my free time. I am used to it now and I feel like it has improved my capacity to come up with things to say on the spot whenever I am talking to people in real life. Definitely one of the best features of KZbin.

I got everything from a CFB order or at the latest GP Vegas. CFB knows what NM means, and other than that I was holding it before paying so I didn't have any issues. They do tend to get nicked very easy though so I imagine you'd experience more issues than normal foils on tcgplayer.

10:40 take a lightly damp q-tip and lightly go over those spots. the wax coating will protect the card and the spots will come right off. in other words, simply clean the card.

An easy (and safe) way to de-warp the From the Vault cards is to put them in a sleeve, stick the sleeved card in the middle of a sleeved deck, put a two rubber bands around the deck in different directions, and then let the deck sit for like a week - checking it daily. Eventually they go flat.

for market value you have to deal with tcgplayer. Else it's buylist price, hence why I went to rudy, cause he gave me an extra 15%

It's not that hard to break into tcgplayer. Just takes like 2 months of selling standard staples then you can sell as many of whatever you want. Also, tcgplayer tends to take less in fees so that's what i'd advise for most of your sales. You can move a lot of sealed product on ebay though, so don't neglect that market. If you're serious about opening an online store and have a reasonable amount of capital, pm me. I have a website platform that can handle payments (and trades a lot better than pucatrade can) that i'd be willing to lease out, or allow you to purchase. That way youre only hit with the credit card company's fee, and you don't get hosed from someone lying about condition and the 3rd party people telling you to give them a refund or you lose your account

I've been ramping up my dividend stock investing , along with prosper loan investing and treating it like a stock, but I wouldn't mind expanding my holdings. How would an outsider even go about investing in mtg? I used to play and am kind of getting back into it, but I basically lost my cards about 5 years ago and it just seems like such an unforgiving market. I can't imagine being about to purchase anything online and being able to make a profit. Perhaps garage sales...hrmm...

Karl Jakober if there was a good answer to that I wouldn't have sold at buylist prices ;). Best thing you've got is violate gp rules and walk around asking to buy collections without getting a booth. Be prepaid to get kicked out if the wrong person hears you though. Vendors pay $2500+ for a small booth at small events. You have to pay big bucks for that priveledge

It's often safer to use bare hands, as long as you've washed and dried them, as opposed to wearing gloves. I know -it seems counter intuitive, but it's a common practice with older paper antiques / paper restoration (with gloves you often can't feel the correct pressure you are putting on the surface with your fingers or if you are bending the paper accidentally, thus sometimes cause more damage) :D

Most MTG stores don't buy vitage cards. Most MTG stores that buy vintage cards are looking at them pretty detailed. Most MTG stores that buy vintage cards and don't look at them that detailed still don't buy counterfeits for the most part - they are just so rare where I live.
