Alright here are my decks: For Alister, I went with the Machina archetype, cos its the most "militaristic" archetype that I know of and fits with Allister's theme since his deck was basically a bunch of vanillas with "soldier" in their name as well as his flying fortress, which does not exist in the game, however there is a machina fortress, so close i enough i think. Monsters: Commander Covington Machina Peacekeeper Machina Gearframe Machina sniper Machina soldier Machina defender Machina force Machina fortress Machina megaform Machina cannon Machina metal cruncher ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Spells: Seal of Orichalcos Machina Defense Perimeter Machina armored unit Machina redeployment iron call urgent schedule ties of the brethren ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Traps: Machina overdrive Cyber summon blaster ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Skills: "Scars from the war" The effect of "Comander Covington" can be activated by banishing it from the GY. Once per turn, during your Main phase, you can discard 1 "commander covington" to activate one of these skills: *add 1 level 4 "Machina" monster from your deck to your hand *special summon 1 level 4 "Machina" monster from your hand or GY in defense position. "Sins of the father" Once per duel, you can discard 1 card to add one "commander covington", "machina", or "oricalcos" card from your deck to your hand. I left out the dark machinas cos i felt like they don't really fit in with the normal ones and are almost their own separate archetype. once again the deck is designed to be played as is with only the 1 copy of each member of the archetype allowed in a deck. thats how i balance it. i wouldn't ever intend to allow multiple of the same card in a deck or mix it with other cards for some cheese strat cos i think it defeats the theme of the archetype that the cards are going for, and just seems exploitative like if for example you were to exploit some glitch in a video game. thats my mindset for this deck and the valon deck as you will see below. for valon I went with the psy-frame archetype. it fits well enough with his whole armor theme, if you imagine that valon is like the vanila psy-frame driver that equips his psy-gear, like valon equips his armor cards. i know this is controversial, as that means you need synchros, but i believe it works if you apply my above philosophy. plus i think it would be cool to have a pure psychic strategy in the game. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Monsters: PSY-Frame driver PSY-Framegear alpha PSY-Framegear beta PSY-Framegear gamma PSY-Framegear delta PSY-Framegear epsilon PSY-Frame multi-threader hushed psychic cleric silent psychic wizard serene psychic witch ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Extra deck: PSY-Framelord Zeta Psy-Framelord Omega --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- spells: seal of orichalcos emergency teleport psychic feel zone soul absorption psycho kinesis ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ traps: psy-frame overload psy-frame accelerator psychic overload brain hazard meta verse -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Skills "PSY-Frame Circuit" If a "PSY-Frame" monster(s) is Special Summoned to your side of the field (except during the Damage Step), you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Synchro Monster, using only "PSY-Frame" monsters you control. At the start of the Damage Step, if a "PSY-Frame" monster you control battles an opponent's monster: You can discard 1 "PSY-Frame" monster; your battling monster gains ATK equal to the discarded monster's ATK until the end of this turn. (This is ripped straight from the field spell of the same name, but i didnt make the skill into a field spell, so its always active. it might be a bit overpowered but to be honest the field spell is vital for the strategy, and i also didnt want the seal of oricalcos to be overshadowed as the main field spell of the deck, though the original psy frame circuit is included as a bonus card to swap the seal oricalcos out if you want). "Big Bang Blow!!" You can activate the effects of "PSY-Framegear" monsters in your hand even while you control a monster(s). Once per turn, during your main phase, if a "PSY-Framegear" monster is special summoned to your field, you can pay 800 LP to special summon 1 "PSY-Frame Driver" from your GY or that is banished, but you cannot conduct your battle phase this turn. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- so thats it. im excited to see what you think of the decks!

I gotta say I love the concept of Alister getting Machina and having machina Force be one of the focuses of the deck very very cool. Also Im glad you made the caveat that ur expected to play only one copy of each card lmao. Since some of the machina cards like fortress seem a wee bit scary in speed duels. But overall really enjoyed the skills and the deck. As for Valen very very creative using the Psy-frame archetype to resemble his armor cards, however one of the big issues with this deck would be that it does not work with the The Seal of Orichalcos since the field spell states it destroys all ur special summoned monsters upon activation and while face up you cant use the extra deck. But honestly i think that if you were to work this concept and not use the extra it could still work. But overall great work :)

@ oh crap, I completely forgot about the extra deck restriction. Damn that kinda screws things up doesn’t it. The destruction of special summoned monsters on activation isn’t too bad since the deck has ways to get them back, but the extra deck restriction is not gonna work haha. I’ll probably just edit the second skill to allow for the summon of PSY-Frames. I know that’s kinda a cop out, but that’s what I like about skills, and that’s what they are for at the end of the day, making unplayable strategies playable, like the machine force skill I made, cos it’s a nightmare trying to get that bad boy out normally. Other than that I’m glad that you like the decks and ideas! Now the only villain left is Dartz which is unfortunately something that I am dreading. First of all we don’t have any oricalcos support apart from shunoros, which from what I can understand is just a normal monster support card, with a wonky effect. It seems that the only “orichalcos” strategy is some kind of normal monster beat down deck, which is boring since we already got a lot of that already in the game like Bandit Keith’s spell armor skill. I feel like just substituting another archetype for dartz would feel inauthentic since his whole thing is just orichalcos, though I was considering the atlantean archetype due to the fact that Dartz is from Atlantis. Right now it’s either atlanteans or a normal monster deck with skills maybe focusing on those seal of orichalcos levels that Dartz messed with in that final duel. What are your ideas for a Dartz deck?

@ All good man. But Dartz is indeed a tricky one since his cards are(like his henchmen) unreleased for the most part. Tho they did release Orichalcos Shunoros,Divine serpent Geh & the seal of orichalcos itself. Orichalcos Shunoros works with normal monsters oddly enough, so Dartz could have a bunch of normal beaters , with Orichalcos Shunoros & seal protecting/powering them, alongside normal support like (faustian bargain & silent doom) with the devine serpent as his ace.

I made video about Rare hunters deck. I made his deck look anime like, with SD cardpool. So that means His defencive cards and Chimera (phanom beasts) he had them in his hands while dueling yugi. :) i would add him exodia if i could add cards to sd cardpool. Limit head on 1 and it would perfect :)

Not having the original battle city box i changed yugi's deck to focus on dark paladin, but your version made me want to build a second deck on spell counters. For the jinzo deck, i added d.d. designator, the forceful checkpoint, and psi-blocker to take advantage of the skill that reveals drawn cards. In the weevil deck, i removed metal armored bug, magnetic mosquito, and gokibore to include ultimate insect lv3, 5, and 7 for the great moth flavor.

But as for your changes they sound really cool specifically the weevil one I mess with that heavy lmao. As for roba I see where ur going but I feel like the monsters in the deck are hella underwhelming which makes it tough to compete.

Yeah. Mako seems like a vey weird deck to tackle, since Legendary Ocean also messes up with the level requirements for summoning Whale Fortress. Personally this is the only deck I'm going to take on a whole new direction by using "Orca Mega-Fortress of Darkness" + "Torpedo Fish" + "Cannonball Spear Shellfish"

1. I love what you're doing. 2. I would highly suggest against using non speed duel cards. 3. Swords is just too powerful a card to be adding to multiple decks. 4. I think for Rare hunter, I'll be adding in the Pegasus relinquished cards maybe. It needs some sort of boss monster, something Red Eyes doesn't live up to. Or maybe Barrel Dragon and keep in the twin barrel. But seriously, this is awesome, I'll be doing some of these. I'd love to connect sometime as i need some ideas as i too like to keep it balanced. Perhaps arkana can get his own skilled dark magician, hmm.

Honestly I kinda hate the fact that swords and few other cards got printed they seem a bit much for speed lmao. As for the sticking to only speed duel cards I for the most part want to keep it only speed duels cards but there are just some decks who suffer so much from not getting proper support haha.

@@TopsyTurnip Lol i hear that, Before speedduel was canceled they really threw the powerlevel for a loop with Battlecity finals on their way out the door. Do keep experimenting with cards that you feel are OK for SD ,keep testing the limits! (And my pleasure man, intrugued by what you got cooking)
