This is the most realistic prediction because it doesn't solve the problem with Snake-Eyes. The issue is that the deck will just run Birch instead of Oak. We need to hit consistency cards on top of a ban, and while the Flamberge limit is great, it doesn't really hinder turn 1 plays beyond Ghost Belle being a decent counter. This was something that you correctly identified in your "Snake Eyes is Ruining Yugioh" video: we need to reduce the amount of starters that the deck has on top of an engine ban (which would most likely be Oak). Like, keep in mind: when we finally hit Tear, we limited 7 cards on top of the Kitkallos ban. While limiting Flamberge does greatly hinder the deck's grind game, it doesn't change the fact that its end board is stupidly good due to how consistent the deck is. We need to limit some starters, especially since the only thing the changes in this video does is hurt the pure variant. We need to be addressing the deck across the board.

I would have taken a ban oak in the previous balist. Now I wanna see much more, like a flammerge ban, to keep the deck as a viable fire engine, but not a pure strong deck.

Honestly I don't mind if Snake-Eyes was outright killed off at this point. I don't think anything will take them off the top of the meta short of taking away a critical piece. You've had enough time to get your money's worth and latecomers should have known better.

Just a ban an limit isn’t gonna be enough for snake eyes. If you don’t wanna kill the deck while hitting its power I think an additional limit to SE ash is also a must. The main issue with snake eyes being hit is while it’s a powerful deck it’s unbelievably fragile banning oak is the only ban that won’t kill the deck

Genroku and Dora Draco give a large consistency boost to Tenpai, more than losing 2 copies of Sangen Summoning would take away. All that wouldn't be recouped by the new releases would be the consistency of the protection that Sangen Summoning gives to insulate the OTK play before the battle phase

One of my banlist ideas was the ban oak limit flamberge I feel the deck is still gonna be the best but if you can dd crow the flamberge or cosmic it in the spell trap zone or something they have no way to get it back and struggle the rest of the game

As a Majespecter player, I can confidently say that there would be no difference in bringing Kirin to 2 or 3. It’s a 1 of in the deck and a brick that you never want to see in hand.

Agree with your list. Also want to say, Master Duel added an animation for Heavy Storm, which was also a big hint the card gets of the banlist. Personally I just wish for Snake Eyes to get killed. They had their 6 months and I'm sick of them. Don't even want to know what they can do with fiendsmith...

What does Snake-Eyes even do if you ban Flamberge? Does it go back to the Diabellstar omni-negate trap set-up in decks like R-ACE, or can it still do link climbing lines in decks like Fire King? Mostly asking since I havent had time to lab it out.

I'd swap Flamberge with I:P personally but keep the other two bans. I:P is also a problem partly for its interaction with Flamberge and will keep getting stronger as time goes on and more link 2+ monsters come out, so removing it instead solves multiple problems at once. I:P and Apollousa were additional offenders contributing to the same problem as Baronne and Borreload Savage where combo decks harmonize to minor variations of the same endboards.

My brothers in Ra, Albion the Sanctifier is not a turn skip... GIMMICK PUPPET KNIGHTMARE is the turn skip. The argument that knightmare could be replaced by others is correct, but there is a reason us branded players use gimmick puppet and not the "replacements", with there being far more outs to the replacements. Ra doesn’t have lingering effects, and can’t be sent off of sanctifire, yugioh players just whine too much. Mentioning branded while snake eyes is tier 0 is just wild anyways. Even at full power branded isn’t as consistent as the other decks. Not to mention branded is running hardly any hand traps and loses to them constantly.

Agreed with you. The problem card is only Gimmick Puppet Nightmare, not any of the others. The reason why Branded players lock with Nightmare is because it's a legal target for Granguignol send him from Deck to GY. Just ban Gimmick Puppet Nightmare, and you pretty much fix the lock in a realistical way

killing snake eyes even banning everything is NOT gonna fix yugioh... yugioh is beyond fixing unless a big new master rule comes and the game does a full reset somehow...you say snake eyes is the problem and every deck that inevitebly becomes tier 0 cuz it just synergizes that well but then konami goes on and prints constantly more and more broken cards and full on broken archetypes that are literally splashable in any top tier deck strategy like they just did with fiendsmith instead of focusing more on building the archetypes step by step by making support cards for the said archetype ..
