A cool little detail in this episode: if you rewatch the Odalia and Kikimora fight there's a bunch of little hints showing there's an illusion. "Luz" uses Hunter's magic to save Willow and you can see Gus using his spell in the background.

My favorite thing about the illusion swap is once you realize it and look through those scenes, you can clearly tell they are disguised as each other. Even disguised as Luz, Hunter's expressions are very Him, very iconic in how he emotes and shows concern. Meanwhile even disguised as Hunter, you can tell its Luz due to being a lot more silly and cocky. And then of course the dash thing Hunter does at the start of the swap.

Someone on Twitter pointed this out. Odalia an oracle clearly uses illusion magic to bring up the wanted poster of Luz. Which means she doesn’t have a sigil and the draining spell wouldn’t have worked on her. Alador however has a sigil so Odalia was probably going to leave him to his doom and take the kids

Wonder if that was me. The symbolism of the bat is just great for Luz because the bat is "between worlds" it's a mammal, but it learned to fly like a bird. Luz is a human with ties to both the human realm and the Boiling Isles, and she learned magic despite not being a witch. And because it's between worlds it's also been used as a symbol for bisexuality. Plus the "Clawthornes have birds Palismans, Luz is pretty much an adopted Clawthorne, bats are mammals but can be considered adopted birds since they can fly" thing. There are the little hints in the show too. Phone case, the tamagochi thing where she's represented by a bat right next to Amity's white cat, for resistances groups we've had the CATTs (Amity?) and the BATTs...

Raine acts really weird and a bit suspicious in this episode, they kind of look like they feel guilty or something like that? Something just feels off (especially that scene where Luz confronted them, it was really short, but felt really weird). I'm probably just overthinking it, and I really hope I'm completely wrong here, but they might be a mole? I heavily doubt they'd betray Eda and the rest for no reason, so maybe Terra caught them talking to Eda in the last episode and did something to them? It would explain why their plan made a complete 180 turn from not involving Eda at all to having her 100% involved and putting her in a lot of danger.

This comment is a little late but i dont think the collector is a little kid OR being held hostage by Belos. The collector is the 9 ft tall monster who captured the owl beast and turned it into a curse scroll on the corpse of a beast titan that is home to titan trappers who worship him as a god. I think the collector is the one who killed all the titans in the demon realm, and the very last titan he killed, the one that became the boiling isles, used its magic to trap the collector in the between realm from yesterdays lie. It was already said in the show that only a titans power could free the collector, so its not that Belos is keeping him hostage, it sounds more like Belos promised to use the titans power (from the bile sac maybe?) to free him and just hasnt done it yet. I think in the end the collector will break out and kill Belos and become the final boss of Owl House. Also I just realized that the Owl curse was supposed to drain magic right? But where did it drain that magic too? Do you think Edas magic was taken to the Collector? Does that mean that if she corrupts the draining spell all that magic will go directly to the Collector so it has the power to free itself? That would also possibly mean that when the Collector is destroyed its magic that bound the owl beast will fade and the curse will leave eda and lillith and become a whole creature again.
