When life throws you curveballs, you adapt. I’m impressed with him. Back when I was in high school in the mid 80’s I had a classmate who had one arm and we had the same gym class together. And I was always amazed at how effortless he made it look changing into his gym suit in the locker room. He did more things with one arm better than most could do with two!

They need a radio adapter or something you can use your foot for gas and then just your hand for steering for these guys.

Go to your track, talk to the race director about which novice class has the most entries, then buy that from them if they have a hobby shop.

Club racing is the heart and soul of a track. I have two season at my local outdoor off road before life got in the way then the track went indoor micro oval. Still a good time but not the same. If you only race at your local tracks for special races, start looking for a new local track.

Mark very sorry your track is closing. I am in Florida so not much winter. Out two outside tracks, River Rat closed at the beginning of Covid, and never reopened. I sold off all my cars back then. No place else to go. In 2023 I got back into RC and helicopters. But still no place to run. So I know how you are feeling! But it’s happened to a lot of us. 😊

1st rule of club racing. Be as toxic as possible and act like every race is the end of the world (esp qualifiers) . Bonus points for throwing your equipment in the pits and not marshaling. I mean you have to let everyone know how serious you are. This isn't always true, but it is why I stopped RC racing.
