Very pretty and neutral, something that can go in just about in anyone's home; a great way to think in order to sell paintings. Next time you want to think about making your Pthalo turquoise metallic by Golden, try that metallic teal from Blick's Studio line. It is a beautiful color, Any yes, I'm aware that turquoise was not used in your painting here and I did send you a sample of it on that set of swatches. I think a hint of that in this painting would have been divine. Of course silver, black, and pearl can go in any person's home these days unless they are still stuck in the 90s like my mom for instance--yes, jewel tones still; the same furniture and color scheme since 1992, but bless her heart, she'll be 91 on January 13!

So this is just a peal medium with the same amount of Floetrol for the base and it makes this magic! I’m been going crazy wasting paint trying all these recipes for get clouds like that and you post this amazing With the paints it’s just Natalie paints with with Floetrol as well? York amazing now can I be maxing to haha

Absolutely delicious! What did you do towards the end around the edges? Were you just cleaning up edges or did you torch again? It looked like your pearls multiplied and expanded due to your actions.

Yes Amy. Cleaning the edges and some more torching. The torch causes the pear cells to expand 😊

Thank you Mary Ann. The ratio depends on the paint I use. I use mostly Golden fluid paints. Very high pigment, so with my Golden Paints it’s one part paint 4-5 parts PM. For tube paints, it’s one part paint to two parts PM. My PM is 50 flowtrol 50% Gac 800

Elyse the PM is 50% Floetrol 50% Golden Gac 800. Sometimes torching will bring up more cells. In this case the more I stretched the paint. The more cells I got 😊

Kathy the Valejo Pearl medium helped with that. Also Floetrol creates cells depending on the paints you use. Also different paint densities also creates cells.

Mary yes the Valejo Pearl medium is the same as the Sargents Pearl Medium. But it gives me different effects. More pearls. Probably diffrent ingredients.
