Hey Dire, here are a few tips: 1. Use the Actually Additions crates. a SMALL CRATE, which costs nothing but WOOD, stores 117 stacks, VS a diamond chest which stores 108. Doubling and even tripling the storage is stupidly easy as well. The first upgrade costs coal, the second barely costs more. You can even upgrade them in-world just like Iron Chests. 2. Try out the Tinker's Construct slime boots and slimesling. The slime boots prevent ALL fall damage and make you bounce, the slimesling lets you launch yourself quickly in any direction. It is the best way to travel in the early/mid-game (before flight and teleportation) 3. I would recommend getting a bit of infrastructure in a variety of mods as early as possible, get a basic setup and a little automation early. Even if you don't touch it for another 20+ episodes you'll be happy you spent the time working on it already! As an example: Even a very basic Botania Endoflame setup goes a long way when you leave it to run on its own for a while, even if you do nothing else, it's nice to come back to botania later and have a full mana pool 4. An IronBackpacks nesting upgrade eliminates all inventory troubles, and it scales very nicely even into the end-game. Imagine one Diamond Backpack, storing 77 other Diamond Backpacks, each storing 77 stacks of items. You can even nest backpacks further, there is literally no limit to it! (At least, not one you will hit in a normal playthrough) You don't need to start there however, even an iron backpack with a few basic ones helps a LOT, and it's very easy to keep them organized. I never take off my backpack, and I'm regularly adding more functionality to it by upgrading or adding backpacks inside it. By keeping your backpacks separate you are wasting their potential, combine them into one nesting backpack and keep adding more and more!

#DireDerp20 strikes again! Of course that is one of the reasons we like to watch him. He also didn't know much about the improvements that good old Jean the Ender Dragon has received. He just found out about her new strafing behavior the hard way. His plan kind of worked though.

I don't believe it's a bug, considering the dragons breath now. If you were able to click in air OR on a block, then you'd only get ender air when trying to collect dragons breath. As it is, you need to make sure you're looking high enough when collecting dragons breath to NOT accidentally get ender air.

Did you know, you do not need to span click the watering can. All you need to do is either shift right click or right click once while facing water, and then it will automatically fill while looking at it. Likewise, when watering crops, all you need to do is click once, and it will continue to empty the can. No spam clicking or holding required. Also, for solid experience, you can shift right click an entire stack at a time. +direwold20

Dire, it hurts to watch you keep taking falling damage trying to fly. Get 18 rice, make 12 rice dough. make 12 rice slimeballs. Combine 9 rice slimeballs to a slime block; and back to green slimeballs. Make slime boots (should be obvious from there, using 2X2 blocks not 3X3 blocks of green slime). Wear slime boots and bounce, don't splat. :)

Sur_Superior ender air is not the same as dragon's breath; ender air is from botania. just right click a block in the end with the empty bottle to get it.

For ender air bottles, you need to click on blocks in the end. Any block, as long as you do click on air. For dragons breath, click in the air, and not on any block.

To get end air you must click on a block in the end with the bottles in hand. The last time you went to get end air you made the same derp but figured it out pretty quickly.

Dire totally needs to use Ender Pouches and a sorting system for his stuff! Just shove it all in one and you can even shove the pouch into itself if you're fast enough! ;) As for going to The End, Dire should've brought some blocks with him, specifically obsidian blocks, to make paths and shelter the End Dragon couldn't destroy! ;)

Dire you're totally not going to read this but save those capacitors and read them. They're all a crazy boost for different machines. There's one that makes the alloy smeltery super hot (and so fast), one that goes in the farming machine, and more!

For ender air bottles, you now have to click /on/ a block in The End with the bottle, not just in open air.

A nice trick available for pseudo-flight in this pack is to equip slime boots to negate fall damage and basically hold right click the Teleportation Wand (or the Staff of Travelling, but it's actually not quite as good due to the cooldown). You can teleport your way through the sky and bounce around, and move quite a lot faster than vanilla flight, though it takes a bit of getting used to if you want to control where you're going carefully.

Another thing using the slime boots is making a spell from psi that increases your current velocity by a small amount and then putting it onto the leggings. When you are falling it will make you fall faster than normal which also makes you bounce higher with the boots. Combine that with the speedboost you get after bouncing with them and you can reach insane speeds and heights.

Dire, that's not quite how the Ender Lilies work. Basically it cycles so that every other stage of growth is allowed to grow at any one time, with that cycle occurring faster on End Stone than Dirt/Grass. If there are two lilies next to each other one stage of growth apart, exactly one of them is allowed to grow at that moment.

I had to fill all 12 slots with eyes of ender. At the same exact end portal. Dire got lucky in that he only needed 11. And it took me 10 eyes of ender to get close. I stumbled upon a mineshaft and then a desert monument before accidentally finding the actual end portal.

ender lilies might get harvested but i do not think they will be replanted using the enderio farming station unless you specify that in one corner it has to replant ender lilies in the farming station's UI. you will need more crops eventually i just think it probably is a good idea to get one more farming station.

That is NOT how the Ender Lily growth delay works. There is a built-in timeframe that rules the growth of ALL of them on an entire server. It's not unique to each plant. So, when a plant on stage 0 is ready to grow to stage 1, all Ender Lilies on the entire server are ready to grow from 0 to 1. This is why it matters: Ender Lilies grow so slowly, especially on dirt, that they can actually miss the window to grow from one stage to another. So if one plant misses its chance to grow, it will have to wait the entire time of the next window to become able to grow again. For a Lily planted on dirt, this means 2 1/2 or so Minecraft days. So you really, really want your Lilies to grow every time they are able to, so that you don't miss the window. Every time you miss a window it will take 2 1/2 more days to finish growing. There are two windows per each soil type. During one window, all plants at stage 0, 2, 4, and 6 can grow. During the other window, plants at stage 1, 3, 5, and 7 can grow. That means an Ender Lily can grow once every window. It also means that when a Lily grows from stage 6 to stage 7, you can harvest it and replant, then immediately grow it another stage (because stage 0 and stage 6 can grow during the same window.) That speeds the growth time up by a whole window. The fastest growing time for a Lily is 6 windows. You harvest at stage 7 and immediately grow it again to "skip" stage 0, so neither of those stages require you to wait for a new window. And yes, sleeping through the night counts against the growth windows. You can use that to speed up your Lily growth by always sleeping as soon as night comes, but you are also reducing the chances that the lilies will actually grow because they have less time to get lucky and grow.

You should make another run. I believe you need to right click on a block to get the bottle of ender air, and you should also try to get dragons breath, in which case you'll nedd to trigger the dragon's breath attack and use glass bottles in or near the breath attack (it'll be a lingering effect on the ground) Good Luck.

Hey Dire. if you make another play for the end, Also consider getting some dragons breath. You need bottles for that as well and its fairly useful stuff. Also consider adding the Sleeping Bags mod to the pack. Its like the old openblocks one. Another consideration is Dynamic Surroundings. It adds some nice looking weather affects.

Click on a block with a bottle in the End for ender air bottles. Also, the Yeta Wrench can rotate Extra Utils 2 machines like the Scanner, so you don't have to break it and place it just right. And you actually got lucky with that end portal, the last 2 worlds I played a ravine intersected the portal room and my portal just wasn't there.

"I'm so unlcuky I need 11ender pearls" - I'm like, haha yeah, no way I'll be that unlucky.. Run around in the AA Stronghold mix with a raving in the middle for 2hrs without finding the damn portal.. Got lost so many times I had to come up with a strategy of marking every section I had checked. Back to the beginning of where I entered.. Hmm, what if the raving has removed the actual walkway to the portal, walks into the middle of the ravine using cobblestone and looks up... RIGHT, BECAUSE THAT SHOULD HAPPEN RIGHT??!! God damnit Minecraft.... The portal was about 15blocks below my initial entry point, literally 15blocks straight down up on the wall of the ravine with no way of getting to it withough first mining for some cobble and making my own staircase up there.. Well, at least I won't need 11Ender pearls right, so I got that going for me.. Take out the silverfish spawner, walks up to the portal..... *Lets out a long drawn sigh*.. I need 12?.. Oh dear, guess it's time to get that Horn of the Wild from botania and get to ender lilly farming... I did find a handful of usefull things down in the stronghold. Found The Ender with Empowered 3 and Travel, found a bunch of wands: Moving, Illumination, 2Teleportation, 1 moving, 1 swapping and 1 Capturing wand + Dark Boots with Empowered, Jump 3 and Flippers, so it wasn't all for naught, guess it's time to head home, recharge this dang sword and get to enderman hunting, cuz it'll take a while for these now 14 enderlillies to grow.. 10/10 would watch this episode again and make my own of the exact same journey.. Oh, and it took me 4 Eyes of ender and 3boats... I hate my minecraft life.

The Ender Dragon simply flies through materials in the end (Endstone, Obsidian, etc.) and will delete everything else. I believe the reason it's like that is because programming proper path finding was more trouble than Mojang wanted to go to, and it makes the fight harder so it's a feature.

Hello, direwolf20! Sorry to say that, but... Your base is way far of a beautiful one. And you have a good quantity of resourses to make some decoration. An don't need to be like a girl's decoration. I mean you should do like an industrial decoration, or something like that. And your base will be looking WAY better than now. And this is just a tip. If you don't want to do it, ok, but you will be "loosing" some audience that could earn if decorate you base. BUT, again: this is just a tip. Have a nice day.

one ender pearl gets you a builder, then you can quarry even if you set it up with just some passive rf gen (water wheel/ thermoelectric generator) you can get some nice passive resource production.

Eh, Mesas look cool but aren’t very practical unless you want a ton of hardened clay and gold. And it may just be for the worlds I’ve generated, but I swear Mesas are more common than Jungles in Minecraft 1.10.
