It’s been in a few episodes in the Japanese anime version when jack duels the red familiar card and he first gets red nova dragon from soul fist then he takes on the spirit of the guy from the kings consanance

Just like the Crimson Dragon, this was never a monster card in the anime. It does make an appearance during Jack Atlas's duel against the Red Familiar episode(s) as it's Master whose powers is taken by Burning Soul to summon Red Nova Dragon.

Yes I know that but I'm surprised that this card is in animation chronicle instead of the up coming main set rise of the abyss where it's not even an actual card in the anime while cards released in animation chronicle are cards from the anime being made into actual cards.

I feel like Resonators will not ever run this card, I really like it for lore reasons but this is not optimal for us to use Maybe if this let us cheat out Red Supernova it would be better, sure this is an EI monster that doesn't die in the sight of not having a field spell, but this is one of the worst archetype in the history of the game, I highly doubt you wanna use this over Bystials in Resonators Don't think I'm being overly negative, but at the same time, in a meta game with Snake Eyes running rampant I have to be wary on this card

This card in combination of having shining star dragon in hand finally gives the deck a viable way to Calamity lock instead of having to run multiple synchro call or run bystial engine. It’s very good, and if you don’t hard draw it you can dump or draw it by running extenders like dark grepher, Armageddon knight, foolish, and gold sarc.

All you need to have on the field when either one of the cards activate is an RDA or monster that treats itself as one

I agree red nova isn't good enough for us to run that it's just a giant vanilla, not like anyone gonna atk so it's effect won't be used much and it's not that hard to remove....if it summoned red supernova now
