On Icoms, the IC 703+, 2720, and 746Pro have a 6 pin port for digi. The 6 pin mini cable can do all three. And a M-F cable extension cable for PS2 mouse is plug and play.

There’s a setting to select which emails to download so it doesn’t auto download everything if there are large files.

While I know this is not a Ham license, could you cover PLMR some day? I’m really interested in encryption and picking up a license my (unlicensed) family and I can use to communicate in private would be great, but information is hard to find on acquiring a PLMR license.

Watching this now in prep for receiving the Field Day message. Question: Does the USB Soundcard dongle that you use (and sell on your site) give audio isolation between the computer and the radio? I guess you could set the radio to VOX and use that to key the transmit. 73

Nice to see someone promoting ARDOP. How does it seem to perform compared to WinMOR in your experience? And there WAS a petition on allowing Encrytion several years back, but it was denied by the FCC, since there are other options to send such data.

There's a difference between encoded and encrypted. Digital encoded is not encrypted.
