As a FYI, as far as I know every station has a couch in it. You can sleep on it for up to 8 hours to advance the time to the morning.

This is a large diesel engine and as such does not operate well at high rpm. Try this . keep the rpm between 400 & 800 . If the oil runs hot reduce throttle by 1 notch no need to change down if oil still overheating reduce 1 more notch do not shift untill rpm reaches circa 400. If rpm is falling very rapidly , still wait until 400 rpm but shift 2 or even 3 gears lower. The shirt diagram you used is missing 1 gear (there are 9) gear 1-3 is slightly higher than 2-2 . Ive pulled 700 ton in dry condition up that grade in gear 2-1 & 850 rpm, max throttle - 2clicks, oil temp in the low amber zone I belive there are some that claim over 800t is possible in 1st gear on that grade also . These comments don't mean I didn't like the video --- I did, and I enjoy the style of delivery and content, Subcribed Belled

Yep. and I hauled 1311T [youtube removed the link, so here's the video id: q_3cAdLTz9w] up that same hill. However, that's only in the dry. If you did in 2-1 with 700, that means it should work in the very wet too. The DM3 is a beast. BTW, I always skip 1-3, even with these heavy hauls. Not only I can't remember it (I use a mnemonic for the gear shifting) the difference is so small that the large majority of times it's not worth the time to shift to it.

Here's me trying to post the video URL of my 1311T haul again: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5CWlHSagbmtb9k

in derail valley there is no "running" position . in derail valley any locomotive that has a "non self lapping automatic brake" doesn't have "running" instead You have four positions. You have "release" "lap" "service" and "emergency". "release" means You are connecting the main reservoir to the brake pipe to release the air brakes on the entire train. next You have "lap" lap holds whatever pressure You've got on the brake pipe so when You make a reduction on the automatic brake and You hold it to "lap" it will hold that reduction and it won't change anything. "service" means taking a reduction on the automatic brake whether You want to slow down or stop the train and once You make a reduction You can then apply the automatic brake into "lap" . "emergency" unlike service however quickly dynamites the train by causing the brake pipe to go to 0 psi which causes the air to be dumped into the brake cylinders to then lock the brake shoes onto the wheels as tight as possible

Is there a way how to get to neutral rpm like with manual transmission car? I'm worried about blowing the engine up while going downhill fast. It feels unnatural to me to shift up when going downhill.
@rogueleadrgaming890710 ай бұрын
not that i know of, best thing is just dont get going too fast and manage your rpms, make use of the dynamic brake

This one is so rusty, I wonder that all functions well and the engine start up.

I'm only two minutes into the video and... You're making a tutorial, and you're making assumptions and you don't know the requirements? I really do appreciate your time and efforts into making a tutorial video, but you may want to be more prepared in future videos. I'll be subscribing to watch those as well :)

that’s the kinda thing you don’t need a tutorial for, you just need your eyes

I would strongly recommend not using the words "I'm not sure" when making a tutorial. Please do your research before making these videos.
