First, Tombow is designed to never fully dry. You have to use just a little at a time. Here is a hint worth trying. I ordered empty glue bottles and put Art Glitter Glue in them. It doesn’t clog up as fast. It’s been a game changer. I never get the AGG tip anymore. I really like Reptile glue and it’s less expensive. Beary, I’ve not tried yet. Lastly, if you put your AGG tips in Acetone. Let them soak for a few minutes. The glue will turn into a gel . Take your pokey tool and get it out. Hope this helps.

My favorite double sided tape is Home Hobby.. it’s sold at Tuesday Morning and comes in 1/8” , 1/4” and 1/2”.. it’s amazing quality..once you stick it, it never comes apart... I have projects I made 18 months that are still in perfect shape.. they don’t fall apart.... I think it’s $1.99 per roll.. but it’s not a huge roll.. my favorite glue is tacky glue because my art glitter glue is constantly clogged.. I do use the Tombow multi glue to attach fabric and trim to my paper....

'Good video. I agree about E6000. I only use it for metal to metal. Glue sticks have never worked for me. I like tacky glue for making flowers. The dies that cut the petals individually. A pair of tweezers to hold the petal, dip the end in tacky glue and put together. It will never come apart. I can't find Art Glitter Glue either and even on line can be a challenge and it is pricey. Big problem - they can't ship it during cold weather. I live in Delaware. I did live in Texas - Houston so that wasn't as big a problem as it is now' I have a bottle of Tombow never opened - time to try that. And I use Scoretape also. Thanks again for the info. Art glitter glue freezes so can’t ship if it drops below 40. So up north can’t buy it in the winter. I do love it though.

I use rubbing alcohol on the metal pin of the Art Glitter glue and put it back in the tip to unclog it. 😷🥰

Happy Easter, Deanna! Fantastic video comparison! I also use mini glue dots and regular size glue dots. They are great for cardmaking to hold heavier objects like charms or buttons. My favorite glue is AGG and Tombo. I don’t have the new bear brand.

You can buy precision tips for the Art Glitter Glue that twist on and don’t get clogged and you don’t have to use a pin. I got mine at a local craft store but the have them at Michael’s and they’re made by Fineline.

I personally love Art Glitter glue. You only have to use a little. For hot glue, I love gorilla glue and the gorilla super glue .

You can buy art glitter glue from www.maymaymadeit.com and they have really pretty pins to put in your cap/tip. They don’t sell in stores. And if you wash or wipe art glitter glue tip often it works best

I like UHU, the white kind. It has a strong hold. The blue colored glue isn’t waterproof and doesn’t have a strong hold. I use Art Glitter glue and Fabric Tac and love them both. I’ve used PVA glue when making journals and has a great hold. Tacky glue is great too.

That's a lot of tombow you used, hence the bubbling. I love tombow but it's way too expensive. Here in Australia, I use a Kaisercraft brand that works superbly and is great value too. TFS. Happy Easter ❤️

Thank you so much for showing this very helpful video on adhesives! 😁 One thing I'd be curious to know about the tapes, is between the red tape and the other kind how long does the sticky hold on a project? It might seem like it's fine at the first for a while but what about 5 or 6 months down the road? I've just noticed with some projects I've done in the past some tapes give out in 6 months to a year.. which is fine if us as crafters are keeping the project. But what if we sell it and the buyer gets it and it comes apart? Just a question I've been wondering about for myself, thought I'd ask a fellow crafter 😊 thanks again

Jeffery Stephenson I buy tape at Tuesday Morning.. it’s called Home Hobby?... they carry the 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2” widths... I still have projects that I made about 18 months ago.. maybe a little longer.. they have not come apart at all.. and are very strong... I just love that tape.. .. if you make a mistake and want to pull 2 pieces of paper apart you can’t.. once it sticks it’s on there.. forever I think.. I have received lots of flip books from pen pals and they are already falling apart before I even get them out of the envelope...

Fabric tac works great on fabric but if you use too much it will soak thru and will cause a dark stain. Plus the extra glue on your project looks shiny so you can see your over use. But I still love it.

Interesting video. Obviously different glues are for different things right? I mean I’d never use e6000 on papercrafts but for jewelry? Yeah if you want the stones to stay put it’s the best😉

I think if you smooth the glue with a bone folder it won't bubble. Check out Uline for the AGT tape. I love your videos keep up the great work.

Hey Deanna! Thanks for the tape and glue info. I have the art glitter glue and I love it...hate the tip! I e-mailed the folks I got it from and they suggested hot water soak and it worked I may try the boiling tho. ATG ohmagoodness. I think the machine is great but the I have a terrible time with it...um jamming? Comming unglued? I have to stop take it apart re-load it alot. I watch a video that Maymay has about loading it each time so I am pretty sure I am doing it right. I have even wondered if I don't see many complaints about it is that people want for it to work so bad and it is an investment. I will take any advice I can get. I contacted 3m and they sent me another one and it does the same thing.

Good evening Sue! I too was having issues when I first got my ATG. I did find a little trick that seemed to help and fix the issue of it jamming or coming unglued from the backing. When you are using it and have your trigger down, you are running it along your project, you have to let go of the trigger while pushing it down then slightly pull it up. This helps the glue adhere at your stopping point, gets it stuck to your project and breaks away the adhesive. I found when I just released the trigger and pulled up, it would just get loose and the adhesive would pull up like a string almost. So pushing it down, then up helps. I know this sounds incredibly confusing and I keep trying to figure out how to best explain it. But, maybe just try pushing it down on the project then up and see if that helps. Once I started getting the hang of it and how to "end" the tape run, I began to love it. Good luck!

tacky glue is one of my most used one so-far,tom-bow mono aqua is another one I use,art glitter glue has been a good glue I just had to buy another type of bottles to fill with it to use it up- will I buy more maybe not, never tried bearly glue

You have to use stainless steel pins with Art glitter glue and the silver tips clog up all the time!! Boo hoo, pain in the butt!
